I ordered this for my infant grandson. It's very quiet. It uses a lot of water, which helps the humidity to flow all night long. Don't like that a couple of inches of water remain in the reservoir, so it has to be unplugged and dumped, before refilling and using it again. It will not work if isn't emptied first.

Highly recommended! It’s pretty dry in Vegas, & I get soar throat quite often because of the dryness. This humidifier has helped me a lot!
