This was a pretty cool gift for my son, who wanted something to keep his "prized possessions" safe. It seemed decently robust for the price, and of course realistic looking up to a point. It was also easy enough for an 8-year old to figure out how to program the code by himself (although he was very motivated). In the future we were even thinking about supergluing another book cover's dustjacket onto it since my son pointed out that someone would think it's weird that he'd have a dictionary in his drawer (fair point). Also, as a side note, we got an extra gift out of this purchase: his reaction opening the gift was priceless since it took him a good minute to figure out why we were laughing at him and his disappointment about getting a dictionary.

Great to keep personal items in. Lock is alright and it's very easy to use. Comes with 2 keys. It's a fairly small book, so don't expect to put so much important documents in it

I recently purchased a book safe and I am very impressed with it. It looks just like a real book and the quality is fantastic. The safe is spacious and the perfect size. It was a great investment and I hope it lasts a long time.

I bought this for important documents, but ended up switching to a Fire and Water proof safe. I liked how it blended in with my other books and how it was functional. It fit a composition book and I hid the 2 keys in separate spots. Some stains over time and maybe it could have been easily broken into if smashed on the ground. Not sure though.

This box is exactly what I need. I need lower-security storage that is lightweight and that can be easily hidden. This box is the perfect size, the combination lock works smoothly, and the appearance is a feasible deterrence from afar, or to the untrained eye. The book cover is black and has the texture of a hardcover book. I keep mine in a box of books on the top shelf. The storage box feels sturdy and well-made. I feel it provides the kind of security that would pair equally with a 3-digit combination. The outer cover does not feel the most durable. The cover is cardboard, and feels like a hardcover book. The 'pages' are molded, hard plastic. Up close, very obvious. The plastic feels weak. I wouldn't drop it. Overall, awesome value for the price. Easily stores my lightweight items that do not require high-security, fire, or water protection.

Bought for my husband for a handy lock box to keep in night stand. Simple yet all you need. Lock mechanism works well. There is no lining so he added some foam rubber type padding that he carved out to hold pistol.

Reviewing after a year of using. A sleek product and I like it. Spacious enough for small valuables like passport, watch, jewelry and no one can look at it as people see dictionaries as old age books.
