I love the floss. I love that it is biodegradable and that there is no plastic anywhere to be seen. Totally in line with my goal to waste less. But then I travelled and didn't think to wrap my dental floss in bubble wrap. The glass shattered and made a big painful mess. So I ordered another container. This one lasted about 3 months. I put it in my toothbrush container for safe keeping while traveling. I took it out to floss, dropped it, and again it shattered.I wish it came in a tin or something more durable. The glass is a nice aesthetic but clearly at this point in my life, I am not ready for it.

The floss is 5 star floss. It does not break as many do with tight teeth. It is black so you get the satisfaction of seeing the nasty material hiding between your teeth.It comes in a little glass bottle with metal top. no plastic which is a blessing.The loss of one star is only due to it not unwinding with ease. So we need to have bottle open to unwind. A minor annoyance for such a great floss.An aside.. I do not floss every day like my husband but when I do with this floss ,I feel perkier the next day. This seems wacho , I know, but should anyone else note this , let me know.

I don't usually write a lot of reviews but I'm so excited about this floss I had to take the time. Who gets excited about dental floss?! I know. Crazy. After reading about the scary chemicals that are in most brands of floss out there I've been hunting around for a replacement. Tried Tom's but it's so thick it's almost unusable (and the plastic - yuck). I bought a container of both this and the Wowe silk floss. Both are pleasant and easy to use. Even easier than the floss my dentist sends me home with that has all the chemicals in it. It doesn't break between my teeth, even the teeth that are kind of tight together.The reason I'm going to be sticking with the TreeBird is that black colored floss makes it so easy to see all that ick that's on your teeth. Why someone hasn't thought of this before, I'm not sure. It's definitely motivating me to floss more. The only down side of this floss is that I'm a bit clumsy so I'm a little worried about breaking the glass bottle (the Wowe comes in metal), but I love this floss so much I'm going to keep buying it.Even if I wasn't worried about floss that's biodegradable, I'd still think that this is my favorite dental floss.

This was the first biodegradable floss I've tried and I am a big fan. I love the little glass jar it comes in thats easy to use. I noticed this floss is a little thicker than your usual so it took a little more work to get it between some of my teeth, but it was never really an issue. Its black so you can really see all the stuff you're pulling off your teeth. After I finished my first roll i couldn't find any refills though, so I ended up just getting this brands normal biodegradable floss and I actually prefer that one, as it's a little easier to get in between my teeth and i feel like it does a better job of cleaning my teeth off.

When I purchased this floss for the first time, it was awesome. It wasn't very minty and it never broke or shredded. It was so good, I had to purchase the refills. The refills are definitely not as good as the original one I purchased. It breaks multiple times when flossing and isn't as minty as the first batch. I'm hoping it's a fluke and the next batch is better.

The floss is so thick it’s painful to use. The floss falls back into the tube and sometimes you can’t find the end to rethread the floss back into the lid hole. Don’t bother cutting a new piece of of floss after that because it will never unravel the same. This floss is too expensive to be such a faulty product. Do no be bamboozled by the packaging. It is not worth the value of your currency.

Had none of the problem's others say they do. It is thin but at least round. It is slippery but all of them are now. I was hoping thiswas like the origional Tom's. It was thicker, round and not slippery. Think it was waxed hemp but they went to the flat route like others and not for me. I cut my gums as the flat is like a knife on my teeth but everybody is different. I would take this over flat but that's me.

Exactly what I was looking for. If this does what it says it does and is in fact safe for people and the environment, I'm a happy camper! It has broken once but that's what you get when you're trying to save the environment. Overall, happy customer. Will be buying refills!
