Perfect to keep off sun from head and face perfect size not to big and floppy. I wet it and put on to cool my head.

I like this hat for outdoors especially when traveling. It packs well in the luggage. The chin strap comes in handy on a windy day. The hat is vented and keeps my head cool.

I was going to purchase an OR hat but they were out of the color I wanted, so I settled for this (much cheaper) one. And I'm glad I did. I took this hat on a cruise to the Caribbean in the summer and it worked out just great. I wore it on the beach, at the pool, on excursions, etc. It provided great protection against the UV rays; it's very light and easy to transport--and stylish too. On a ATV excursion it ended up covered with dust but throwing it in the washing machine upon my return, it washed just fine, no issues. Both the colors and shape remained the same. At home, I wear it to do yard work in the summer or wash the car. It's just perfect. Now, the brim is not as hard as the one on the OR sun hat, but the OR is about five times as expensive! When I finally ordered an OR hat, I had to return it almost immediately on account of being so expensive for a sun hat that serves the exact same purpose as this one--and did not fit at all!

It is a great hat for the price and is comfortable to wear.

The color, light gray was nice, the fit was OK, the brim is very wide and resembles a plate as it it stiff. The top of the hat is very thin and flimsy with no shape other than sort of flat; the fabric of the top is so thin the whole thing just kind of falls into the hat.

I have a small head. Pretty sure it's the size of a toddler's head. It's not really a big deal since I'm somewhat petite -- but it's misery when I'm trying to buy a hat. I'd ordered ones I *thought* were going to be small enough, but they weren't. I gave them to my outdoorsy family. And then I found this. It comes in great colors (I got a mid toned gray one), is highly adjustable, and fit me well -- even in a breeze. I went kayaking with it and it helped prevent me from getting sunburned while also keeping sun from making me squint and miserable. I'll be taking it camping and hiking as well. Colorado vacation, here I come!For reference, the circumference of my head is 21". Not only did this hat fit and adjusted well to my head, but the brim was wide enough to look right while being small enough to look how it's supposed to (versus some big, floppy beach hat.) It's ventilated, too, which is good because I hate being hot. So far it seems to hold its shape well, too.

I bought this hat listed for men because I thought the size would be good. It's way too small - made for a lady with a small head.It comes from America so it cost £15 to return it. I'm hoping Amazon will refund this but too soon to tell.

I should have order women’s as too large.
