Solid, little heater gets it done
For such a small heater, it raised the temp of my modest 1-car garage 30 degrees in the span of a night. From 36° to 65°F. Not too shabby. Seems as safe as they come too, in terms of space heaters.

This heater doesn’t work !!!
This heater is poor, poor, We had it on the other day and it did squat to heat up the garage. Our garage is a a standard garage for two cars. I have a air conditioner in the window that has worked great over the last few years, but this heater is a joke. Not powerful and not very hot … a very poor product !!!. We live in the south and out temp was higher than it has been. I am sorry I ever purchased this

Well Made and Durable
This heater is worth the price. It provides better circulation than most because the fan is larger than the competition. It’s sturdy, built well and heavy so it won't tip over easily. It takes a little longer to reach max temp because the element is encased in metal for durability. Not too noisy. The temperature sensor is on the outside of the case so it’s more sensitive to the room temperature. It’s a better choice for outside like patio or greenhouse.

Good Dr. Heater for you greenhouse.
The Greenhouse heater was not what I expected, but was just what I needed for my greenhouse. My greenhouse is 6x8 feet. It is not a typical heater, in that it blows warm air and not hot air. I think that hot air would toast my plants in the greenhouse. We had 22 degree temps last week. I set the thermostat just like the instructions stated. The low thermostat was set when the temps outside were about 45 degrees and I watched the temp maintained between 42 and 48 degrees maintained during the freeze here in Houston. I have a remote temp sensor that I can see in the house. I know....I know, for some of you that is not very cold. Sorry.... I am using an extension cord for power and I read the warnings, but what else am I going to do? Since, as sated above, the heated blows warm air instead of hot air, then the power requirements should be less. The heater is using less power to produce warm air and not hot air. An extension cord may not be the best option, but is shouldn't be a dangerous option. Just be sure that you use a good quality cord and maybe a cord with 12 gage wire instead of 14 gage. I bought my greenhouse to keep stored plants (plumeria) from freezing in the winter rather that growing plants. I have a big lack of storage place for my plants elsewhere. Anyway...I am very happy. Hope my review was a help.

Works better than I thought
I keep this in 22’x22’ shed that I overwinter my fig trees in. It keeps everything from freezing. Currently it’s 9f out and 39f inside and that’s on a lower setting. I’m thrilled.

Heavy Duty
More expensive than a lot of the cheapo ones you see on Amazon, but it's very heavy duty (which is what I was looking for). I'm using it to keep my dormant potted figs from getting too cold in my garage on the coldest nights of winter. This is primarily an infrared heater (just like the name suggests), which means it heats objects directly with radiant, infrared heat more so than heats the air. A good way to think of this concept is like stepping into the sunlight in summer, and you feel the sun's radiant heat on your skin. However, it does also have a fan to provide some heating of the air as well. I wouldn't expect it to warm up a large space significantly, but for something in this standard voltage/wattage range, it's about the best you're going to do.
