Two cures for the price of one
I never thought I could have shin splints, but I did: that gnawing pain down each shin after playing pickleball for just an hour or two. I mean, I'm 70. Too old, right? Sure, after the bypass surgery, I have swelling in my left leg, where they took that saphenous vein. But... shin splints?Yes, some pitting edema on the left, and shin splints in both legs. So I tried these. (True to being a science nerd, I tried 2 other brands as a "test").These are by far the best: the most comfortable, the most resistant to sweat smell and corrosion (why would my sweat be corrosive? am I a risk to others?), the best results from frequent washing, a decent price. And... my edema and my shin splints are gone. Really. I was afraid I would have to wait for The Next Life. (You know what I mean).Recommended without reservation. (You shouldn't have to make a reservation to make a recommendation, I think. Who's with me?) No, they're great.

Buy a size larger than you think you'll need & you'll be happy
I am editing my rating to 5 stars due to the fact that the company sent me their product in a new larger size and they fit well. I would recommend going with the larger size XXL, I am 5'3" tall and wear a size 4, the XXL sleeves are a very tight form fit and provide a great level of compression. They seem to be very good quality sleeves, great for runners who need to wear them for recovery or on a run. The co-founder for this company has gone above & beyond to make sure that I am satisfied with the new product sent to me.original review:With all of the great reviews for these compression sleeves, I almost hate to write a negative one. These compression sleeves were so tight that I could barely pull them up my leg. My husband wasn't even able to get them over his foot. We bought the L/XL, which is the same size I have in a pair of compression sleeves from Zensah and those fit well but I didn't like how they were too long on me. I love the shorter length of the BeVisible compression sleeves - they are the perfect length for my 5'3" height, but they are so tight that it's unbearable to wear them for any length of time. I tried a short 3 miler with the sleeves on but it was really uncomfortable to run in them.I am editing my rating from 2 star to 3 star because I am amazed at the customer service from this company. After writing the above review, the co-founder wrote me an email giving me suggestions for proper wearing of the sleeves, gave me a full refund on my purchase and even offered to send me a complimentary pair when a new size comes out. I am floored that a company would go to these lengths to insure customer satisfaction.

Sizes are apparently WAY off
While these things are made extremely well, they are also either designed as a torture device, or terribly off on the sizes. I bought 2 pair, both of them over my usual size according to their chart - XL. I know that they are suppose to be snug for support. But, when I looked at them out of the pack, my first thought was, "you've got to be joking." Regardless, I decided that, since I bought them bigger, maybe I just needed to get them on and that they would stretch out. Unbelievable. It takes about 3 seconds to but on a pair of socks. With these things, it literally took me 15 minutes to get them on my legs - and it was a process, in a matter of stages. First you pull them over your toes, then you find an edge and pull that edge over your heel, then both thumbs jammed under the rest of it still on your foot, and do your best to pull this bulk section over your heel. Then you have to find an edge and start working it up your leg like an anaconda eating a baseball bat. The material is so strong, that it causes you legs to ache when they're in place... but not for long, because your legs soon go numb. I decided to gut it out and hope that this high-tension sleeve would eventually relax. I wore them all afternoon and into the evening. Unfortunately, I fell asleep for a nap on the couch. During the sleep, I realized my ankles were throbbing a bit, and when I woke up and looked at my bare feet on the other end of the couch, I couldn't believe what I was looking at. My feet had swelled up, were an odd shade of red, were tingling and the band at my ankle had dug a 1/4" trench completely around my leg. It took me even longer to get these things off, a miserable process of tugging and stages and finding edges pulling... It's crazy. I'm not sure what to think. Maybe they got a bunch of smalls from a company and just repackaged them in XL bags to unload them, or the wrong ones were put in the XL pack, or I need a MUCH bigger size than the recommended. I would have given 1 star, but the material is heavy and really durable... I mean, I think you could repair heavy machinery with them. But as a simple leg support you throw on to play a game or go for a run, no way. These things ARE the workout - put them on, take them off 380 calories burned. ~~ 1 pair is still unopened in the package, hopefully one of their reps will send me a new set 3 or 4 times bigger... and a return pouch for the ones I've got. I would appreciate it.

Worked great, highly recommended. No more cramping in my calves! Recovery time much faster!
I love these, and I highly recommend them. I just started running again after 17 years off and up 80 pounds, and I have never had to use compression gear before, but I was getting terrible cramps in my calves and my recovery time was so long as to last into my next run time, even after rest and recovery days, so I read up on possible solutions and compression gear seemed the ticket. And I have to say that I'm a big guy, at 6'1" with a 15 3/8" calf at it's largest point. These definitely helped blood flow into my calves, delaying the onset of any soreness and cramping, and also helped the lactic acid flow out. I am almost never sore in my calves any more. I were these when I run instead of compression socks because I want to wear my regular running socks with compression sleeves, and it works great. I wear compression socks after I run, and I think that also definitely helps. I haven't had any problems with fluid pooling in my feet or anything like that, because I only wear these when running. All in all, they definitely solved my problem and I highly recommend them.

Good sleeve
I am prone to calf injuries caused by running. Usually, I use a neoprene sleeve which actually helps fasten recovery for me. But as the skin doesn't breathe, it also causes irritation. So I tried this sleeve instead. I don't think that it tremendously helped fasten recovery, but it is a good compression sleeve overall. My calf if 40cm, and I bought size L (on inseam, in is sewn "L-XL"). It is a perfect fit, and it doesn't cause skin irritation. I have already run 10 km wearing it, and it didn't slide down. I also like the colour which fits my trainers (why producers think that everything fitness related should be black?). Last but not least - I have washed it in machine already, and it kept all its qualities. All in all - good quality but it would be a bit naïve to think that it would solve all calf health problems.

Great service arrived very quickly
Great service arrived very quickly, i cant really say much about the product as ive only used them once and to be honest they didn't help me 😕 Not sure if this was down to me as im having proper issues with very very tight calves so ive decided to rest them for a few weeks. Ill update my review once ive used them a few more times. Only reason ive given 4 stars is because they didn't stop my pains first time!

Quality product that actually works.
I suffer from pains in my calfs and shins and I thought I would try this product. I went for a run today and I had no pains no nothing. To be honest I didn't realise I had no pains till I finished my run. Happy relief. A very high quality product that actually works. The packaging however doesn't reflect the quality and an improvement could be made on that. Don't let that put you off though. All products sent from Amazon have additional packaging anyway. I recommend this product.

Great Compression socks
Have worn these a few times to help get over a calf injury. They are a snug fit so hold everything in place and thankfully my calf has healed well. I occasionally wear these post run to help aid muscle recovery.
