This is a brilliant tool for blind bearing removal and install, I had to buy some 10mm studding for my particular job but the drifts are made off alloy but very precise, good range of sizes.

Good range of sizes and if used "sensibly" will last......used to drift seals in l200 transfer / propshaft, with a copper mallet. Case is added bonus....no problem recommending.

After receiving this set and picking up each piece I wasn't sure given how light they are that this set would help me remove the rear wheel bearing from the hub of a 2007 Nissan Micra, but how wrong I was! Each piece is usefully stamped with their size and although there was some slight deformity of the handle after a good few thumps from a lump hammer, it all worked really well. Setting in the new bearing was easy with just a few lighter hits. Impressed.

Excellent quality tool

The kit seems well-made and durable, as well as easy to use. One small issue I had is the largest disc adapter (81mm) was a little too small to install the inner bearing race when I was replacing the wheel bearings on my 1999 Toyota Land Cruiser. I had to cut the old bearing brace and stick it on the end of the 81mm adapter to install the new inner race. Keep this in mind if buying this kit to do work on a Land Cruiser or similar sized vehicle. I'm not subtracting a star because of this, if you need a larger adapter consider a different kit. This one was affordable and ended up working out for the wheel bearing job.

They look amazing and the surface quality as inside the Swiss watch. But as it happens, I bough this kit based on my assumption that my bearing was bad. It turned out, rust expansion pushed dust protection lip towards my 09 Escape rear brake rotor and the lip started rubbing it. It was not a bearing fault. How I have both items on my shelf, lol. Not everyone may see a difference between assumptions and facts!

They work great for bearing seals and for the sleeve for the filter in the transmission

Excellent aluminum seal and race driver set. Don't rent this at AutoZone, just buy this and have it forever. I don't know why I haven't dropped $25 on this up until now. I used it to drive in two differential pinion races, the axle bearings, and the axle seals on a Ford 8.8. It had perfect sizes for all of these tasks, and the aluminum drivers didn't damage anything.
