I was in the market for a packable towel for commuting to work. I've found this towel to be perfect for commuting. It's lightweight and small, so after allowing it to dry at work I can pack it up into the small breathable bag provided and bring it home easily. The towel is also fairly large, comparable to a normal bath towel. I have had towels like this in the past for travel and find you need to have a slightly different drying technique involving more patting and less rubbing as these are fairly grippy towels. The aesthetics of this towel are very well thought out. It includes a Mountain Warehouse compass logo in one corner on one side, as well as a hanging loop for drying which is a must.Pros:- Lightweight- Packable- Large (130x70cm)- Quick dryingCons:- Not easy to rub over skin (need to pat)

Outstanding product. Very lightweight and nice and small when folded nice into its little bag. Felt strange the first time I used it, but it really does dry you amazingly.. I use one when I go swimming. The large towels are perfect for me, so good I bought another 2 in different colours. . Highly recommend this. Very fast delivery.

I ordered a couple of different microfibre towels recently, to see how they would perform compared to regular towels. I find it takes me a long time to get dried after showering at the gym/pool and I thought a microfibre towel might help.I had a similar experience with this towel as I did to a more expensive one I also bought at the same time. Impressed by how much space you can save when it's folded up to a normal towel and it feels nice and soft. Quality also looked fine to me. As with the other towel I tried, I also handwashed this one before first use. The colour ran a lot more with this towel than the other, though it is the dark green version of this one that I bought, compared to the light blue of the other, so that wouldn't help. You are warned that the colours may run, but I was surprised by how green the water turned! A second wash (this time in the machine with a colour catcher) after using the towel for a while caused no problems, but a stray pair of light underwear got in with the towel the third time it was washed (this time without a colour catcher) and they have now gone green! So be very careful when washing it.The towel dries really quickly - even just hand wringing it after the first handwash and then hanging it out on the line dried it much quicker than I expected and of course it dries even quicker when I hang it up inside after using it at the gym.As with the other towel I tried, I didn't find this one dried me any more quickly or efficiently than a normal towel - but that may just be due to my body contiuing to sweat after showering, meaning I have to keep drying off the same part of my body multiple times, no matter what I'm drying with. You also get the same bits of fluff sticking to certain body parts as with most new fabric. I found this a little worse than with the other towel I tried, though that might just be because this one is darker and it's more noticeable - it does also seem to be reducing the more I use it. It's a nice soft feeling when drying yourself though and it's a great space and weight saver, so definitely very handy for taking on your travels, be it to the gym, camping or abroad.

These are so great, we recently used these when we hired a VW campervan, where space is limited and standard cotton bath towels never fully dry (past experience). These towels are amazing, they dry you quickly and with ease (great when in a cold shower block), they take up no more space than a tea towel when folded, they dry quickly and are very light.Perfect for any form of traveling, hiking and camping etc.

great towel which i use for swimming -took a bit of getting used to as so thin but really does soak up moisture brilliantly and works perfectly as a normal towel. Substantial enough to be able to wrap around even once costume removed without risk of flashing any bits post shower....!! (im a size 16) it is so lightweight and folds down small enough to be able to use a tiny bag for swimming (i use a one of those square insulated food bags as really handy for wet items and doesnt take up much room in locker.

Its like drying yourself with a Chamois leather cloth, not a good travel towel at all

Great size towel- folds down to about A5 size but the material feels slightly strange against my skin- like there is a film over the top which meant that it didn't really absorb moisture very well. Hoping that this feeling goes after washing the towel.

It takes about 30 minutes to dry and does a great job drying people too. It is a bit different to normal towels and almost sticks to you, but it works really well. I love that it came in a bag too, it's easy to transport with me to the gym, pool or whatever. Totally worth it and would definitely recommend for travelling and all of the options it suggests in the description.
