Before this I ordered the fhu...which was garbage. I returned it and purchased this. This is more like it. Pretty easy to understand...WRITTEN IN ENGLISH....and seems accurate. If you're using this for vehicles, might as well spend the money and get this one with the 80 degree angle which is used for higher gloss levels.im happy with it. If there are any unforseen defects or issues I will update here. So if you don't see an update/edit, it means all is well

Purchased this in June 2024, never used now when come to use it no power, battery doesnt charge, and a blank white screen when u plug it in to charge. Was left to charge for the 4-5 hrs it stated. Spending this sort of money one expects it to last more than 3 months.Have sent supplier a message and awaiting thier response.

Works very well. Easy to use. Instructions are very clear. calibration sample included. Only problem: does not come with an adaptor for 115V AC current. Had to buy this separately to recharge it.

It's important to understand how to use this device. A lot of negative reviews for this and similar devices are people saying they don't get consistent results, especially on car paint. This is mostly because of using the wrong angle mode (high gloss needs 20 degree) and because of not completely having the device flush with the surface. It can't be at an angle or have a gap to get consistent results. It's not as simple as waving the device around and getting readings, you have to learn how to use it and invest some time in the process.

I have had the Gloss Meter for less than 2 years.I have used it 3 times and keep it stored in a climate controlled area.I can’t get it to power up, even though it is fully charged.Who can help me get this repaired?
