Fabric is soft to the touch- but it is a "stiffer" stuffed animal
No dislikes. My nephew loved it! But I read many other reviews and had difficulty making a decision because they were so mixed. So I'll try to explain it like this- the fabric is soft. The animal itself is more on the firm- "I will maintain my shape"- side of "plush-ness". It looks JUST like the photos, same dimensions, etc. So if your looking for something that will maintain its shape when grabbed by a tail/limb- this is the alligator for you. If you are looking for something that will fall limp when picked up by the tail/limb, like Woody from ToyStory, don't buy this stuffed animal.

Big and soft!
My 6 year old son loves stuffies and alligators! He picked this out himself and was very pleased with his purchase.

Wonderful stuffed plush
Made an excellent gift for a boy who likes collecting stuffed animals that are at the top of the food chain. The only issue was with several of the knobs on either side of the spine weren't pushed up.
