Awesome shin guards!
In college with no access to fight gear myself, I needed some shin guards to spar and use on worn-down bags with nothing but rough duct tape on them. Bought these in regular size and they fit great! There's plenty of padding and the foot covering is great. The bottom straps help a lot in keeping the shin guards from moving. The only slight problem I have with these sometimes is that instead of using 2 straps to hold the guards to the shin like most do, these use a long elastic strap that covers the entire calf region. After going a few rounds on the heavy bag or sparring, it gets incredibly sweaty down there and it can be uncomfortable to take off.Other than that, these shin guards do the job perfectly. For the price and material of the product, you can't go wrong with these. You really do get your bang for your buck.

Not even close to what I thought they were!!!
I literally just pulled these out the box to break in at my class and the set up for these shin guards is horrible. It's like trying to put on and take off at wetsuit. Save some strength since you're going to need it to take them off! Second, THESE ARE NOT SHIN GUARDS TO KICK BAGS WITH! I spent 20 minutes trying to get used to the discomfort when you kick the bag but couldn't handle it. I'm better off kicking with my barefoot again... Save your money or go to your local big 5 or sports authority and get the better version for about 5 bucks cheaper! Have a great day!

Not Bad
Good for the price. Good coverage, but you still feel the kicks. Not enough protection on the sides of the shins;it can become painful if you are blocking a kick and it lands on the side. Difficult to put on.

great fit good price
/bought these for muay thai training. They fit well and dont shift during movement. Good shin guards that I would recommend to anyone training in the sport.

Not the Best, No the Worst
Being completely candid - I did not purchase these pads; however, the MMA gym I have trained at for the past three years has these pads which I have borrowed/used during numerous training sessions.Pros: good shin coverage and padding thickness, velcro is strong and stays, padding is durableCons: the padding on the foot is not long enough to reach the toes, if you have ever accidentally kicked someone/something with the top portion of your foot (toward your toes) you realize quickly it's nice to have padding to protect your foot at that location. The pads get very wet with sweat and do not breathe well, the bottom foot strap can wear rather quickly becoming loose on the bottom of your foot, the back of the elastic at the top of the bad (just below the knee) has a tendency to roll and shift causing a rubbing against the back of your leg's skin and is uncomfortable. Of course given the choice of getting kicked in the shin or a little rubbing on the back of my leg ... I'll take the latter.Summary: There are better pads on the market. If the price is right and the value is good enough - buy these, but if you are serious about your training...there are other options. This is truly the case that you pay for what you get. Good for beginners not sure if they will continue with sparring/training and do not want to borrow their gym's equipment.
