Worked Great just matched the pin connector and the resolution of the screen. Two of the screens I had did not work though just output blank-black screen / maybe broken screen?

This didn't work for me because I only focused on the connector and didn't realize the resolution was incorrect. I find it unfair that for slightly different resolutions, you have to buy another adapter. In the end, I returned it and got a refund. I got lazy about choosing the right one and ended up abandoning the project over such a small detail.

Got this specific board as recommended by the manufacturer and it worked perfectly with my setup. It isn’t too bad to install as long as you treat the product with care. Now I can multitask with my main 27” monitor and my old laptop’s 13” lcd. Great way to repurpose an old lcd.

I like it, and it works but you have to pay attention to what power you use because I got a random barrel plug and I almost fried the board and later I used a other barrel plug and it worked I almost got a hearth attack that it didn’t work.

Brain damage, hand tremors this product was a walk in the park. Thank you very much.

I purchased this item for a N156BGE-E42 screen, which is listed as compatible. The control board came w/ 2) 30 pin cables. They both shorted out on powering up and melted. The screen worked before removal from the salvaged laptop. Why send 2 ribbon cables, unless there is a problem? I also ordered another control board for a different screen from Vsdisplay, and it works just fine. Maybe I got the one out of 1000 that failed? Amazon has approved the return/credit to my account, THANK YOU!

The control board was not compatible with my display despite the exact model number being listed under the models it's compatible with.
