Has anyone used this internationaly? Has it worked just fine without blowing out & dying due to voltage varinace?

I bought this flat iron from Remington last time, the moment I plugged in the European outlet, it fried and shorted the outlet right away. My 2nd trip to Italy, I bought this flat iron with a voltage converter and it worked perfectly fine this time. Is it hard to keep the curling iron on constantly because of the on and off buttons or does it shut off by its self?

There's no problem to keep the iron on while in use because the on/off button is a little bit sucken in so its not easy to accidentally turn it off. However I have found that the temperature select button can sometimes be accidentally pressed but it doesnt happen often. Also the curling iron does have an auto shutoff feature in case it is left plugged in but not in use. I yt? D a very good curling iron. My hair is long (down to waist) and I get long lasting curls with this iron.

Are these the professional series products? those with the white box?

I am not sure what that is, but what I received was a normal retail package like you see on the shelves at your local department store.

Is the voltage dual? Does it have a bag or cover for travelling?

I don’t think it’s dual voltage but it does come with an easy to use cover. You just slip it over the curler like you put a heat protector on a coffee cup!
