Silver Hi-Temp Paint 1 Pint

I have been using this product for years. I have used the black also. I brush it on or use a sponge with good results. Once it’s cooked by running the engine, it forms a solid barrier. The product goes a long way. You can paint multiple headers with this pint can. Costs more than the spray cans, but works so much better.

I applied this to the headers on my off road car years ago and still looks new. I purchased a pint for my next project. Heat resistance is best I have found and application is easy with a fine brush

Good stuff. So far though and nice silver satin finish. Very difficult to apply smoothly as it dries incredibly fast. Make sure you use a brush you can throw away. My lack of experience with it led to a fairly rough finish. looks great on black 95 lifted f-250 4wd full 3" true duals, long headers, high flow cats, fm super 44's. painted all except chrome tips.

I ordered a can over a year ago and kept it in a cool area in my indoor closet. I finally got around to using it last week. I noticed the can lid had become puckered outward and a high amount of pressure was released upon opening. After stirring it for five minutes or more, I attempted to apply it with a brush and it immediately coagulated on the surface of my project. I received a second fresh can and it applied perfectly. I advise using it within a reasonable period after receiving it for good results. It may have a short shelf life.

Considering the price, I had high expectations. However, as product is applied, it dries too fast and becomes very clumpy. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Always wanted to try this, finally got some, used I ton stainless steal to extend live, and I have driven over 140 miles, nice and hot and hasn't shown any sign of flacking. Only complain I had is the put extra clips on the lid, and when I took one off it had put a small hold in lid as it was pressed on to tight, so make sure you check those, and it can lead to it drying out if not stored properly. I was going to use at least half a can on first use, so I wasn't worried and I have it seal well, for my next pipe.
