VIVI SKY Pagoda Peak Old-fashionable Ingenuity Umbrella Parasol (Ivory)

This parasol was perfect and the size was just great for my daughter. The original color was great but i got it sprayed to match her dress. Needed something to block the sun as they drive her down the street as queen of her school. It's giving royalty. If your thinking about buying it go right ahead. Everyone that came in contact with her that day or saw it loved it and wanted to know where i got it from

This is a gorgeous umbrella that works as a parasol to protect you from the sun as well as an umbrella for the rain. I receive compliments every time I use it. People ask me where l got it and l tell them at Amazon. However, I don’t want to see other people walking around with my parasol. It is really special.

I love this umbrella so much I bought an extra one in case my other one ever gets old or lost, I have a back up. It hasn't offered to blow up in the wind. I have use it in many down pouring keep me as dry as can be , no leakage. It is a show piece as well. I have received many compliments over my umbrella. I would buy again.

I received my purple pagoda umbrella today and so far I'm very happy with it. It seems to have sturdy construction and is of beautiful styling. Overall, I would recommend this umbrella as a sun parasol. I've yet to see it perform in the rain so I'll update this review when I do. As for a fashionable walking stick as one might like an umbrella to function as, there's this strange springiness to the frame that inhibits its sturdiness for such a function. I think that is the result of the pagoda style of the umbrella, the construction springs out to create the shape of the style. First, a description. The shaft and handle are black as well as the fourish inch tip. The ribbing on the inside is also black. Each panel is bordered by cream piping with black polkadots. The panel themselves are purple, the exact color in person quite well matches the website photo. The snap is silver on a band of the same purple fabric. The handle is wrapped in black, leather-like material with strong stitching. The umbrella came wrapped in a plastic sleeve which was easy to take off. The handle also had a plastic wrapping on it like a candy cane. The umbrella isn't as smooth to operate as one would like. The mechanism for locking the umbrella into a folded or open position is that of a basic umbrella, but the push to activate it is no more than a plastic tab! I don't like this, it really detracts from the quality of the build. Opening the umbrella is easy enough, it snaps well into its pagoda shape. But closing it take some extra effort to get it to snap. In terms of blocking sunlight, this parasol does it wonderfully. I look forward to using this all summer. Again, I will update this review once I've gotten more milage with this umbrella. I'll keep y'all posted. Update: I haven't tried this in the rain (stupid drought :( ) but I got the black umbrella too and it's just as nice (if not more versatile) as the purple one. It's the same in every way, including the piping, except of course for the canopy color. I can recommend both the purple and the black versions of this umbrella!

Cute umbrella bought in white. It was not called out that the trim is not black as it seems in most of the photos, but polka dotted. Overall not a bad umbrella, I would just recommend seller calling out that trim is polka dotted. This is being used for my wedding amd I probably would have bought something else had I known about the dots.

Sturdy, cool, works smoothly, wind resistant, says to open and close, sturdy, stands up to use! Super cool looking! Great for sun or rain, 10 out of 10!! Perfect umbrella while looking cool! Great for a little Goth or Steampunk touch to your outfit!!!! Great with vintage clothing!

I probably buy more parasols on Amazon than any of their other customers! I’m a medical aesthetician and I completely stay out of the sun. This parasol is so pretty. The first day I used it I got compliments on it. It’s not compact, so keep that in mind, but I don’t care it is just so well-made and truly, so beautiful it doesn’t look like an umbrella, it looks like a parasol and it looks very feminine.

The material is very thin, the wire is extremely weak. I expected something much more durable/rugged

I take this everywhere with me. I love it. Its lightweight, durable and has such a unique look. So handy for the blazing sun it makes events much more enjoyable.

The description doesn't state that it's cream coloured with polka dots and not white Difficult to put up and down

Been waiting for rain and minimal wind to try this umbrella. There was a little wind, which did not damage it, but plenty of rain. Umbrella kept me dry. So many compliments over the umbrella, definitely an eye catcher. Easy to put up and take down.

Handle is too small making it difficult to hold.
