Met UNO 5 decades ago when I got to America=Chicago & was live-in Nanny to 2 boys & 2 girls when tellys were black & white, all the while working an office 9-5er. Then found a ragged rubber-banded set at Goodwill when my own kids were ready for reading numbers & letters & consequences... & now, at last, Son's Son is old enough to play! It takes Grama to show him the way to a boisterous game w/UNsubtle (non-adult) reactions to the cards being played & when I'm quiet I'm watching generations at play. Daughter-in-Law, also a fine game player, completes the fun & learning playtime, especially when Grandson realizes his Grama enjoys giggling & hooting & his Mom & Dad know how to make all sorts of noises & word plays when anyone looses or wins. We're learning how to play SORRY too. One of the oft forgot good manners!The cards are thickish paper which is OK for learners cuz they're gonna get mauled 'specially w/little fingers shuffling & dealing & then pondering which card to follow the lead + reactions to what cards demand!.

Nice tin can to keep cards stored properly. Cards are of good quality. Everything was okay. The issue i had and the reason i didnt give 5 stars was because the tin can had a dent in it. Might be due to shipping or whatever.

Ordered to replace the "new school" version that I mistakenly purchased not knowing they made a newer version (swapping hands, drawing/writing in your own cards, etc). This is the classic version that I am used to and the tin storage / holder is perfect so that cards aren't lost. The only small complaint is I thought the black compartment inside could be used to actually keep the cards neat while playing, it is a little too snug for that. It's tough to get the cards in and out so it's only purpose is storage.

Well protected by its packaging ... good job! Whether this game would arrive with an indented tin was a matter of some concern for me, as this would have ruined it for me. But no worries! Came through in perfect condition!
