Worth every penny of the steep cost!!!
I have passed Part 1 and Part 2 so far on the first try, a month apart. I had a week and a 1/2 to study for part one due to a severely restricted appt schedule. I had planned on a month to study. Sooooo I prayed this costly book would consolidate the study material. IT DOES AND THEN SOME!!! I then made appt for part 2 a month later. Not only does this book give detailed explanations, but it gives tips for what material may be given. All tips were indeed true. However....by no means think that it will not require the estimated 40-50 hrs (perhaps double for the notorious part 2) of study time per part, as suggested. Also, I have a master's in acct which obviously helped enormously, but no work experience(yet..) in the field. If you have experience or education in the taxation field, this book will be the perfect study guide. I have no qualms about taking part 3 ASAP. If you have experience in individual but not business(or vice versa) it might be wise to purchase their supplementary workbooks. This will hold true especially for part 2 since some background knowledge of business is invaluable. Otherwise, you will probably need to "double" study by first learning basic business accounting, then applying the tax laws. Either way, feel confident that you will get your money's worth from this book and best of luck!!

Well Exceeded Expectations- Very Happy
I haven't gotten through the whole book yet but am almost finished with section two. I wasn't sure what to expect and was extremely happy when I found that the book exceeded expectations. I am a bookkeeper who wants to be able to assist my clients better and someday file tax returns. Since starting this books I am using the knowledge I learned on a daily basis. I wish I would have know about this three years ago when I started my bookkeeping business. I HIGHLY recommend to anyone looking to take the EA exam or just enhance their accounting knowledge. I am hoping to take the exam this Spring and will update my review (hopefully I pass).

Good book
Good book, full of info, easy-to-read format. Reason for 4 stars instead of 5...you really need to purchase the workbook that goes along with this review book. Some questions in the workbook cover things that were NOT covered in this review book, and that were tested on the EA exam. I did just finish taking all of my tests and did pass all 3 on the first try. (I highly recommend also taking the free EA practice exam questions on Fast Forward Academy website, as well....there were some things on FFA that were NOT covered in either the PassKey Review book or the workbook.) Overall, it was a good book to review for the EA exam!

a great EA review book
I used this as a study guide and passed all my tests the first time. Don't get the idea the tests were easy, but this book was so well organized and inclusive that the memorization and familiarization processes went very well. The whole point of the EA testing process is to demonstrate an awareness, and basic knowledge of a wide range of tax practices. This book does a good job of presenting the essentials while pointing to the IRS publications, forms, and IRC codes and laws that are the source.

This book is the reason I passed all three parts the first try.
This book is the reason I passed all three parts the first try. I also used the online free questions at fastforwardprogress and paid for the online books at Phoneix Tax. These gave me test taking practice, but the information in the book is really valuable not just for the test but also for the profession. I highly recommend.

I recommend this book for every one who wants to spend ...
This study review was very instrumental to my studies. I passed all the three parts in one attempt. The questions in the books are almost the questions in the real exams. I recommend this book for every one who wants to spend less time in getting his EA. My wage has increased too, lol.

PassKey EA Review Complete is all that you need to pass all three parts of the SEE Exam
I passed all three parts using only the Pass EA Review Complete and the workbook containing the practice exams. This book helps you focus only on the items that will most probably be tested. You may not even need the workbook if you also review the IRS referenced publications in the book.

Great study review - Need ebook immediately!!!
This review has been so clear and concise and easy to understand. I have enjoyed just reading it and answering the questions. Only reason I didn't give it five stars is because there is not an ebook version of the book. In today's world of tablets and kindles this large book is a lot to lug around. I commute daily to work by train sometimes I have to stand up. It's much easier to hold my I-pad and hold on while the train is moving then to hold this bulky book. I think the publishers are doing a disservice by not having ebook versions available.

not enough
I just passed Part 1 of the EA exam and I can say that no way this book is enough to be fully prepared for the test. This book is what it is – just a review to refresh of what you have already studied. I used this book and then did a lot of online tests for additional study. Yes, we want to save money but it’s not worth it. I definitely will NOT be using this book for the hardest Part 2!
