Perfect fit and function!
Pulled the original one out of my 94 k1500 6.5 turbo diesel, slapped this one in, bled the system, and it’s been perfect ever since. I’ve put about 8k miles on it since installation.

All the auto part shops in town said this is a dealership only part if even they would have it, also to expect a very large price tag. I decided to check Amazon because why not and they had it for a very low price. Installed it in the truck and everything is leak free and running well.

Fuel Filter Assembly Leaking
97 Suburban K1500 6.5 Diesel 320KNoticed a slow leak with stain on driveway. Troubleshooting figured lines beneath intake manifold. Pulled off manifold. Suspended filter assembly with a bungee cord where I could see it. Jumped fuel relay to pump fuel continuous. Observed leak bottom of assembly. Probably an O ring but when you consider what a PITA it is to remove this option is excellent. Caution put on new fuel line to filter assembly from pipe on firewall and made about 1 1/2" too long. About 25 miles after repair engine quit as hose got warm and kinked. Hard to judge length be careful.
