I bought it because it says that is Serbian ajvar; but it is not, it's made in Macedonia.
I haven't bought it from Amazon, but because Amazon is the largest market place I would like to people be informed about. I am curious, who makes in Macedonia that kind of crap to look like that is made in Serbia? My parents are from southern Serbia and we know what "ajvar" means.So, I was so excited to try it - Serbian ajvar; the jar was perfectly sealed but when I open it what a huge disappointment, no smell at all on a pepper, which is specific for that part of Serbia, also is supposed to be "hot" and is not even "mild".Furthermore, it is written that is made with larger pieces of pepper, and it is not, it is like paste with no taste at all.

Very poor. Had to give a 1 would have been a zero
Jar not sealed. Smelled musty. Leaked all over jar and lid and package. Very disappointed.

This is the best brand of Ajvar by far!
I did not buy it from Amazon. I have a local store in the SF Bay Area where I buy it. But I just wanted to suggest to people to try this. It is awesome, and this is THE BEST type of Ajvar available (other companies such as Podravka are not even close to this in taste and quality). People of any cultural background (in my circle of friends and coworkers) that have tried this stuff, love it! Give it a try.
