SKLZ Impact Limited-Flight Practice Baseball,

These work as advertised. These are like plastic wiffle balls but you can actually throw them a lot further. My child and I practice in our backyard without having the fear off damaging something. Definitely recommend for on and off the field.

Awesome practice balls for softball / baseball. I figured since they were impact balls they wouldn't go as far but they go very far just a heads up. Quality product and will be using it all season

perfect for practice without having to chase all over

Bought these to hit off a tee in my backyard, as an easy way to take practice swings for adult slow-pitch softball. Very happy with them so far. They are hollow with a flexible outer shell that somewhat limits flight, though still gives useful feedback about how good your swing was. They will not break windows, I've bounced a number of them off my house with no problems, it's nice to not have to worry about damaging anything with them. So far they seem durable though I've only had them for a week at this point, not long enough to know how well they'll hold up for a long time.The only thing I wish was different is the color scheme. The half-black, half-yellow thing looks good just looking at the ball by itself. However the black part sometimes means it's hard to find the ball if you have hit a bucket of them around your yard and then want to retrieve them all. This could be improved by replacing the black part with something brighter that's easily visible against a background of grass or leaves. (So changing to brown or medium green would not be an improvement, something else like orange, white, red, blue probably would be).Also, for people who care about the exact size of the ball: these are 11 inch circumference (as advertised). I play in leagues that use 12 inch circumference softballs. It would be nice if SKLZ made a 12 inch version, and I would have bought that instead of these 11 inch ones had it been an option. Anyway I knew what I was getting when I ordered, and expect they'll still be good enough for hitting off the tee.

Works great takes a beating after 100 hits

Wanted to help improve my son's batting by practicing with smaller balls and the 1" hitting sticks. We first started using golf ball sized whiffle balls, but they were easily dented and I had a hard time throwing them at a 30mph pace without getting some "wicked" movement. I read about these balls and that I could throw them at a faster speed that standard whiffle balls and that they balls are durable, yet won't break windows. So, i bought 2 dozen and began using them for our back yard batting practices. My son faces the house when I pitch, so I am essentially using the house as our back stop. My son has rocketed some of my pitches and it directly hits a window from perhpas 30 feet away. No damage to any windows. I am also able to pitche these balls faster than the whiffle balls, allowing me to more closely duplicate the speed of pitching he will see in his little league games. Love these balls, I plan on buying another dozen. ?My only little "nit" would be that the color of yellow and black don't stand out as well as just plain white whiffle balls. I find it a little harder to spot these balls in our yard because the yellow blends in with the green grass and the black does not jump out against the dirt patches i have throughout my yard. But overall, I am one happy customer.

No longer have to keep buying new softball whiffle balls each time my daughter hits it on the end of the bat. The standard whiffle balls kept splitting in half. These take the impact in stride.They still travel a good distance as well. If you’re after a ball with reduced flight, this might not be the best choice but if you’re looking for balls that’ll stand the test of time, these are great. Save a lot of money not replacing low quality balls all the time.
