Primos Hunting Calls Mastering The Art Turkey Instructional DVD

Informative and a good watch. Showcases the various primos turkey calls, decoys and blinds. Chock full of useful information but bear in mind that it is produced by a call manufacturer so it is essentially a "show and tell" / infomercial for their products. For example they don't teach you how or why to use "a tom decoy" they show you "why you need the Primos Killer B Tom decoy". They don't talk about using a locator call, they talk about using the Primos Hoot Flute ...its shot in a "hunt footage" / porch discussion format interspersing footage of primos personell using / discussing primos products on the porch and then cutting over to the hunt footage. It was in my opinion worth the price, and was informative. Came with a diaphragm (mouth) call which was nice. I like Primos products, and have a lot of there stuff. I have bought and will buy other videos in the "mastering the art" series. But just go into it recognizing that your going to be buying a manufacturer specific sales pitch.

I've always been a fan of Primos and have watched their TV show/DVD's for years. This DVD is great because it gives a wide variety of calling techniques for multiple calls. I also enjoy getting different perspectives from multiple Pro-Staff members, showing how each of them call just a little bit differently. This DVD would be great for callers of all abilities, but it's extremely helpful to novice callers like myself who can use extra assistance on technique.

A lot of this DVD is good but the product promotion and long winded talks on the front porch between the dudes in camo can be a bit boring at times to say the least. Nonetheless, since there isn't hardly anything on the market in terms of good turkey calling instructionals, in my opinion, I am glad I got this and have learned a lot from it I must admit.

I like it .I was able to pick up duck ,goose, predator and other calls ,this may take a while to get to the time where turkeys come in rather than flying away

My son and I sat and watched this video twice in a row. He liked watching the hunters call in the birds and shoot them. I like the tips and techniques the experts provide on how to use the different calls. We hope to kill a turkey this year, or at least get better at the art of turkey calling!

good video for beginner, but i think it needs follow along hunts, but still very informational just some more visual in the field action would make this video flawless

im new to turkey hunting. the video was pretty good i think, however i do not like the mouth call it comes with.
