Amazing Product!!
I have been using the Flex Belt and Flex Mini for approximately 4-5 weeks now. I tried several other similar products side by side and the superiorty of the Flex belt Brand Products was astronomical. The construction of other products is quite flimsy or non anatomical, the power sources are not consistent and don't deliver the range and variety of power input that the Flex belt brand products do. Other products are not as form-fitting and comfortable, nor do they give you the sense of a real full muscle contraction with the possibility of a variety of workout selections that feel natural to the motions and contractions that normal exercise would produce. While wearing the flex belt and the Mini product for toning up the buttocks, I immediately noticed significant muscle contractions and extremely rapid initial results. The initial results primarily consisted of a true feeling of a very intensive workout, feeling the muscle soreness that one would feel a day after vigorous exercise. Over a week or two, I actually noticed when I put on an old pair of jeans for the first time, that I almost felt like Kim Kardashian for a minute. I was immediately struck by the incredible amount of toning I had achieved in my gluteal region, which was quite a surprise with the short amount of time that I had used the device, but also, I was surprised that gravity could be so easily overcome in such a short period of time. The teardrop sagging of my lower gluteal region was clearly lifted and there was an overall significant increase in the fullness of my buttock area. The flex belt in the abdominal region had significantly flattened my stomach and I could feel improve posture overall and just a generalized increase in core stability. I also had access to replacement pads that were sold buy a different merchant which were significantly inferior, not sticking to the Belt the way that they were supposed to and not delivering an even pulse of electricity and uniform contraction over the surface of the pad. In contrast, quite surprisingly, despite an addictive utilization of the Flex belt and Mini, I found the original brand name pads to be extremely durable and to last longer and through more exercise cycles than anticipated. I am extremely pleased with the quality and performance of the product and plan to continue to use them regularly to maintain and improve upon the results have already achieved.

ONLY REVIEW IT IF YOU OWN IT, PLEASE!!
I am so tired of reading 1 star reviews from non-users of this item! Get a life! Say something if it is relevant to the PRODUCT. I purchased this belt, and I am very happy with it! I suffer from many health issues, including fibromyalgia and hypothyroidism. The rest is too much to list. I cannot do situps or crunches, because of the pain that attacks my entire body, due to the fibromyaliga. I have weight I cannot safely lose, even though it was gained due to hypothyroidism while on a healthy diet. Before my first week of using this product had passed, I could DEFINITELY FEEL a tighter, firmer abdomen. The appearance was subtle, but it boosted my self image, and kept me going, HAPPILY, with the belt. I wore a tunic, leggings, above the knee boots (flats,) and a belt when I went to a salon I have used for more than 12 years now. ALL of the stylists asked me how I had lost weight! I told them I didn't lose weight. I was just tightening up some tummy muscles. They knew my health issues, and asked if I had joined water aerobics or anything like that. I gave them the info on the Flex Belt, which they looked up immediately. One stylist purchased a Flex Belt on the spot. She uses it while she cuts and styles hair now. She swears that her firmer abdominal muscles have significantly helped ease her back pain, from being on her feet all day at work! I am looking at the set for the thighs, and maybe (probably not) the set for the arms. I can't take long WALKS, because of arthritis in my knees, but I do work with free weights for curls and such for my arms. Floor exercises from long ago are helping my legs, but adding such a product couldn't hurt. My specialist ok'ed the belt for me to try, and I'm glad she did! I am not obese, but I am full figured. Not the same thing for those of you who are snickering. At the age of 14, I stood 5' 7" and my measurements were 38-26-38. I weighed 128 pounds. I wore a 34 DDD/F bra until I was about 25, then it went to 36 DDD/F. Within 6 months after the birth of my first child, I was back to the same measurements, but with a little extra "belly pooch" below my natural waistline. My proportions have remained roughly the same in ratio, with a general gaining of weight slowly over 30 years and a total of 4 children. I now wear a 38-40 DDD/F bra. I don't see gaining 6 inches around my ribs over that time as a tragedy, and I have the other measurements still in proportion. This belt, giving me the feel of a more solid core, has kept me doing the leg exercises that keep my calves sculpted (much to the surprise of my 18 year old daughter! They are cut!) and the will to continue light free weight exercises for my arms, despite the expected discomfort from the arm that has been through a shoulder surgery (it just kept slipping out of, and back into, socket, painlessly) and a radial nerve release. Anyone with a remote knowledge of anatomy should KNOW that MUSCLES tense, not fat. That was stated in an earlier review. BUT, what HAPPENS when these muscles flex? ENERGY is used by the body to allow this action. WHERE does this energy come from? NOT from the belt, which causes the contraction. The ENERGY comes from the BODY. How is excess energy stored in the body, waiting to be used up? AS ADIPOSE TISSUE, more commonly known as FAT. It is the same energy deposits that are used up during conventional exercise, people! Fat is fat is fat... Burn it up however you choose, if that is your goal. This belt will tone the muscles under the abdominal fat, and it WILL burn stored energy already in your body = FAT. IT IS SIMPLE SCIENCE, WHETHER THERE IS DOCUMENTED PROOF FOR THIS OR ANY OTHER PRODUCT OR ACTIVITY THAT REQUIRES MUSCLE FLEXION ANYWHERE IN YOUR BODY. Folks, you burn fat with every breath you take, even while sleeping. The key is finding a way to burn that fat (some use "calories") in the most efficient method for YOURSELF. I hope this triggers some memories of common sense, as far as exercise goes. Not every BODY needs, or can use, the same techniques that work for a DIFFERENT body.

Not worth your time nor money
I have a lot of lower back pain and was hoping this could assist me with building core strength. My experience is that this does not work. I felt the sensation, no problem. Reviewers who state that they didn't feel anything, I'm really surprised because I definitely felt it - it's a bizarre sensation! Every time I used it, I would use it longer and at a higher strength until I maxed out and I still felt no relief from back pain nor tender muscles as if they had been through any kind of workout. There was literally zero benefit for me. I thought if the belt could strengthen my core, even the slightest, it would be worth it. I finally mustered up the motivation to workout via rowing machine and that did the trick in regards to back pain. Paid a pretty penny but I'm not a workout in public "type" so it fits my needs perfectly (in addition to the physical benefits). You can hope this works. You can convince yourself that this works. People with success stories or beautiful, shiny muscles can try to convince you that "this really does work" but it doesn't. Save your time. Save your money. No miracle belt here. I thought it was worth a shot and now I'm here to tell you to get that out of your head. It's really not.

I have no excuses for not taking 5 minutes to throw it on!
This belt is not inexpensive (Everything in the box is titled SLENDERTONE. Which also happens to be about $100 less if you buy that belt instead...Not sure if I didn't research enough, but from what i can see, a cheaper belt might not get all the glam and offer the same thing in the end), and it's true that it will not replace normal dieting and exercise. But it DOES stimulate your muscles while your moving around doing other things. I'm a single mommy, so my time is strictly 7-8 am mommy duties (maid, chef, nurse, best friend, disciplinarian, teacher, and chauffeur), 8-5 pm Administrative HR in front of a computer, then 5 to 8-9 pm is back to mommy duties (see pervious list). This belt adds some exercise to my lack of "me" time. Normally there is a weekend work out here and there but it's not enough to really make much of a difference. Dieting is hard and can be expensive to stay strict to, so adding something that I can feel the burn with while folding laundry is really awesome. It is not the most comforatble thing to get used to but I'm a scardy cat and have gotten it up to level 40 intensity in my first 2 trys of the belt. Cons: *The belt is very similar as a belt that is $100 cheaper, and has the same name on all the products inside the box. Wish I would have bought the other belt. *The middle "ab pad" that goes on your tummy doesn't let off any charges until you get the belt up in the 20 intensity levels. I thought mine was broken for the first try and was very upset, but choose to try it again before I sent it back. The hip pads worked great from level 1 and seem to be more intense through the entire experience. *The gels pads are a tacky gooey subtance, the residue and small chunks of the pad tend to stay behind when your done with this device, even with delicate care. *If you are large the pads might not fit where you need them to via the booklet (both hips/lovehandles, and tummy). I am 150lbs, 5'5", and wear a size 9-10 pant. My weight is well spread over me just not toned (which is my mission). The belt right now is at the max pad spacing that is offered, and it just bearly covers the electric nodes that the pads transmit to my body, while fitting in the right places. If you have a larger belly, the pads may only cover your stomach regardless of how stretchy the belt is. *This belt is not inexpensive (Everything in the box is titled SLENDERTONE. Which also happens to be about $100 less if you buy that belt instead...Not sure if I didn't research enough, but from what i can see, a cheaper belt might not get all the glam and offer the same thing in the end), and it's true that it will not replace normal dieting and exercise. *The pads are expensive. Pros: *It DOES stimulate your muscles while your moving around doing other things. Not having enough "me time" to hold a steady gym trip or exersize video, this belt makes me feel like I'm doing right by my body while I work. *The belt can be used by larger ppl as it has an extension piece (I don't need it but I'm sure this is a bonus to some). *This belt is well made and stays where you put it. * There is no noise invloved and no shocking effect to other people or items while using it. This is a plus so I can move and interact with my daughter while exercising. Or watch a movie and not disturb anyone else. *The remote has a timer. So pick your level and let it go for the program you choose. It will beep when it is finished to let you know you have reached the end of the session. The programs are different time intervals and intensitys to mix your workout up a bit for your muscles. *The remote that is used for this belt can be used with the other products (I think there are arm belts, and butt/thigh belts as well), not having to by all the hardware again might cut the price a bit. I hope I was helpful to anyone looking into this product. I don't think I'll be returning the belt. And since I can use it everyday without haulting life, I have no excuses for not taking 5 minutes to throw it on for 20-40 mins a day. You can really start to feel the burn and muscle exhaustion after you get in the 30's, and it goes up to 150. I'm sure I won't get to that level but it's definately an added part of my toning process now! I'll wait and see what this belt can do for my tummy, and I might get the butt/thigh belt next if in a few months I notice a difference.

Works sorta... not worth $200
I bought this after reading all the positive reviews online. As a 5'10 male with a slim build (I weigh 150) I figured this product would be perfect for me sense I read in other reviews that it wouldn't burn fat (which I didn't really need) but would increase muscle definition. I got the belt and it was very high quality and after trying it for the first time, I was not sure if I was ever going to be able to get all the way up to the 150 level. I used it every day sometimes even twice a day for a couple weeks, but no have moved to around 4/5 times a week. I've had it for around a month now, and though I've seen a little difference, the results are marginal at best. Definitely not worth $200. The pads still work great for me, all I do is, before putting the belt on, I put a capful of rubbing alcohol on them (1 cap for all three, not a cap each), rub it all over the pads with my finger, let it dry a bit, then put it on. In the end, I feel like this does something... sorta, for my abs (never once was I sore the next day even after 2 150 sessions) but I would be hesitant on spending $200, cause you are not going to get much closer to a six pack from this product.

Yes it does work. Let me explain.
I have been using this belt system and yes you can feel the squeezing / tightening effects on your abs. They use this electric pulse therapy in some fashion in rehab programs to fix muscle deficiencies. So it is a proven method. The thing is this. It is working on the abs UNDERNEATH your overlaying fat pad. It does nothing to get rid of an excess layer of fat obscuring those muscles worked on. So you use this in conjunction with a weight loss, fat burning workout to actually see the results. But if you choose to keep the extra fat layer over those muscles you will still have the benefits of an improved core for your everyday tasks. For instance the tighter / toned muscles may help those with back problems. To get the flex belt to actually work to do its job you do have to get the settings up to where you don't exactly feel comfortable. You need to feel more than just a tingling from the pulses, but the actual contractions upon you stomach. You need to really feel the squeezing. For me that was at least a setting of 80. But if you are new to this, don't do that. Start with just the tingling levels for you and build up to the squeezing part, otherwise the full sensation will feel too disturbing at the beginning. If after usage for a time, the belt function doesn't act normally to the higher settings and the connection between the remote and belt seem fine, then it is probably the gel pads which need replacing. For like if you see the belt emitting too frequent 'on and off' pulses. I think some of the negative reviews for that it doesn't work are from clearly overweight people who expect the belt to take care of the fat problem too. After this usage just push a finger onto through the stomach area to feel it harder than before. Finally this belt system may serve to motivate one to watch diet and undertake another exercise program to bring those toned abs into view. When I lost a bunch of weight with other exercise efforts after first toning with the flex belt for some time, wow I then saw the nice abs, previously hidden underneath. Hope this helps.

Two caveats about this excellent product!
I've used a TENS unit for years and am very familiar with the electric sensation this unit provides. I must say, however, the Flex Belt is far better constructed than I imagined and it fits comfortably around my 38" waist. It's also very thoughtfully designed with various programs and settings. The ability to recharge the control unit without replacing the battery is also a plus. You can also replace the rechargeable battery, when needed, or the entire control unit if it fails. It's all very modular. Others have covered the effectiveness of using this belt and I concur with their observations. My abdominal muscle tone has improved considerably after only a few weeks of daily use. I'm most fond of program #7 as it provides intermittent crunches that really grab you. I definitely give the Flex Belt five stars both for its design and effectiveness. Two caveats I thought I'd share: first, if you clean the oil off your skin with Windex or other household cleaner prior to use, the pads will retain their stickiness far longer. I've been using mine daily for a month now and the pads feel almost new. This should help with the overall cost. Adding conductive gel does work, and is inexpensive, but you are left with residue on your skin that must be cleaned off with a solvent, like Goo Gone. A fine mist of water on the pads also helps with conductivity as they age. Second, I had hoped there was a way to arrive at the higher settings more quickly. I'm now using 120 and getting there takes some time in increments of 1. There is a work around, however. If you push the "+" keys then lean your thumb back slightly, the settings advance by 10 instead of 1. I didn't see this function listed in the manual but it was a welcome discovery. If you hit the information key by mistake it seems to pause things so it can be a bit tricky finding the sweet spot, at least initially. Overall, highly recommended!

Seemed too good to be true
Let me just start by saying that I am not a paid nor did I get the product for free to review, just your average consumer. When I was originally looking at the product I must admit I was a but skeptical. Seemed too good to be true. Abs without having to work them out, NO WAY?! After going to their website and watching testimonials I was suckered in, but I must say this thing is great. That being said there are a few things your should know. 1st is that there is no short cuts when it comes to body enhancements. This is not some miracle product will make you lose weight... It will strengthen and tighten your core, however, if you are not dieting and doing cardio to help you lose body fat you will not see results. You'll be working your muscles in your abdomen sure, but you will not be able to see them if you have body fat sitting on top of them. 2nd people in the reviews complained about it being uncomfortable. Well duh, you are intentionally shocking your body! While it may not feel like moms back rubs it is not painful in any way. You have to work your way up every time you put it on. You cant use it once at a low level and then crank it all the way up the next time. Don't be dumb. 3rd, people seem to complain that the pads go bad too quick and that its "too costly" to keep using. Umm I don't know how people are messing up their gel pads but as long as you recover them with the plastic "shields" every time ("shields" are provided) they will last a very long time. Im going on 2 months with the original pads I started with. 4th people complain about the customer service. This is one thing I cant comment on as I have not had any problems with my unit so I have not had to call them. Overall this product is great. Wish I took a before and after shot so you could see my results but oh well. Hope this review is helpful for those on the fence about it.
