Great for tying up raspberries
I used these to hold up my raspberries. It works great, seems to be very strong, and I don't worry about it damaging the canes.

Garden Vinyl Tape: Better Than Garden Wiring
This wide-but-thin vinyl stretch tape is highly flexible and easy on the plant: Because it's wider than wire, it gently disperses tension along its greater width (wiring tends to tear wounds into the thin trunks of my young plants). The tape provides a ton of give when the wind is up, allowing young trunks and stems to sway just enough to toughen up and thicken by growing more fibrous -- yet it ultimately keeps plants in the position you've set them in.The tape itself is green, allowing it to visually integrate well with foliage and a lawn: No one needs plant tape to announce itself in a color other than green. This is a simple, terrific product offered at a great value. I'd buy it again, but this 300 foot roll may just last my lifetime. - (Was this review of use to you? If so, let me know by clicking "Helpful." Cheers!)

Works great for plants
The plastic is thin but not in a bad way. It is easy to tie, expands as the plant grows, and doesn't cut off the water or nutrients. I use to use the coated wire but those would but into plants as they grew. This will not.Ties tight to the poles and what le the plant slide down. Looking at you tomato plants. The roll is big and will last you a long time. If you have a home garden it will last several seasons.Recommended for gardens.

Very effective & strong
I bought this for tying upright raspberry canes to my trellisses, so I could control them better, as they kind of just flop all over the place otherwise.I wish I had pictures, but I don't. I Initially use them to tie up smaller canes, and direct their growth, and later re-tied up canes as they got very large. I don't think I ever had any of this tape snap, it's very flexible and durable. Since it's stretchy, it doesn't strangle plants as they grow, there is some 'flex' as they grow in diameter.I also had an issue with very top-heavy hot pepper plants flopping over, and I had to put some stakes in the ground, and tie the plants to stakes with this tape. Worked like a charm. This is a very easy 5 stars for me, as there is a ton of it, doesn't damage plans, and is durable. Great product!

Great for the DIY Gardener
It with stands the California sun. I used it to tie a small Poinsettia about two years ago and the same piece is still on the plants.

Easy to rip off the size you need and strong enough to hold plants.
I've decided to grow my tomatoes on a trellis made of cattle panel set up as a wall. It's just too hard to reach in the tomatoe cages to pick fruit. The tie tape works great. We have had several storms and none of ripped and all the plants look great. the tape stretches as the plants grow and they have done wonders!
