Fantastic sunglasses! The design, and style is perfect. Very comfortable, keeps the sun out. The side parts do serve a purpose, they keepthe sun out. And the built in readers work very well. I was so happy with the 1st pair, I bought 2 more pairs.

I bought 2 pair of these glasses one in black as well as one in a tortoise shell finish. They're lightweight and don't hurt my head. For reference I have big head. I love being able to glance down when I need to read something. They stay on. I bought my first pair in 2017 and they lasted until 2022, finally had to replace because the finish was peeling off and they started to slide a little. BUT they still worked which is great. The black pair came in kind of a cheesy brown scalloped case, sort of clam shell looking. The tortoise ones came in a super nice black case molded to fit the glasses. Don't know what happened there so I'm knocking a star off because of case. on the black ones.

I live in sunny Texas, and I never leave the house without sunglasses. While shopping, in the past, I was always searching in my purse to trade out sunglasses for readers and then the other way around. With these glasses, the problem is solved. Very convenient. My sunglasses are now on my face or on my head, but always within reach. As one review mentioned, there are little rubber ends on the glasses that would catch hair. This was noted the first time I tried them on, but they were easily removed and not missed in any way.

I hate to give theses shades 3 stars. These are great polarized shades. The lens is clear and works great. The frame is very comfortable and does not pinch my head. The wrap around frame looks great and keeps the sun out. The placement of the bifocal is just right, not too high and not too low. These glasses also come with a very nice storage case. For about 35 bucks these shades are a great value. The problem with these shades is that, like most people, I have an iPhone an iPad and other devices that I like to read with my bifocal sunglasses. The polarization causes a "rainbow" effect when you try to read your iPhone or smart device. For me it really is a deal breaker. I needed these shades to get Info from my phone while I am out in the sun. The rainbow glare caused by the polarized lens makes it very uncomfortable to read. I tried to get over it but it really sucks. If you want to read a smart phone do not buy theses or any polarized bifocal sunglasses.Update: The rainbow effect is from my screen saver. My new screen saver does not have the rainbow effect. My iPhone with no screensaver is just fine. I’m adding two stars because I feel they are a good value. I actually purchased another pair.

For bifocal readers, it's unusual that you're not always aware of having them on. These things were so comfortable and cut the glare (Hawaiian beaches for a month) so well I sometimes forgot I was wearing shades until it started to get dark outside.Very comfortable and the wraparound design blocked glare from all angles.I was glad I had 'em.

Other than the stick on bifocal, I loved these glasses - at first. I have been extremely careful with cleaning so as not to damage the bifocal sticker. However, it seems sweat alone causes the entire lens to bubble and peel. I purchased these a year ago. Live in Michigan, so a few months total use, at most. So disappointed. Won’t buy again.

The overall view and reader pane are fine for me. View is excellent.The side window is too far back and serves no useful purpose. Problem is the hinge post is where the side-window needs to be. Not an easy problem to solve and still be able to fold the glasses.

These sunglasses have the quality of ones much more expensive. On the reviews of other polarized bifocal sunglasses of similar price, I saw several complaints that they broke easily. These seem pretty strong but are still lightweight. I have only worn them a few times but so far I'm very happy with them. I bought them mainly to wear during outdoor activities like kayaking. For the first time ever, I was able to paddle and see the navigation on my phone. For me, the bifocal part could be a little bit higher but that is a minor complaint and dependent on how the glasses fit your face. I can now read at the beach and be outside and see my phone. I have cords on them but they fit pretty snugly and I doubt would fly off even if really active. I got the matte tortoise shell with amber lenses and they look great.
