Mrs. McNosh Hangs Up Her Wash

This gave me nostalgic feels of growing up in the 90s. We love this cute story!

This is my daughter's favorite book, even at 16. It is hilarious though.

Silly and wonderful rhyming book about Mrs. McNosh...who winds up hanging all kinds of fanciful things on her wash line. The rhymes are fabulous and children giggle away as it is read. Perfect for 5 year olds...but two year olds would love the silliness as well. and the rhymes are wonderful when you read to a baby as well which would keep the baby's attention since the colors in the illustrations are so captivating. I put this book at a baby shower...along with a clothesline where guests could hang paper "onesies" on with wishes for the baby. big hit!

Perfect book to read to my class.

This story is a very enjoyable story for children. We read this story when our daughter was around three. She was very engaged in the story at that time when she was not yet reading. She continued to enjoy the story even now at eight. Even though she is now older she will recall the story freguently. The story is very engaging and the pictures are very vivid and the bird appears in every picture. I would have her identify where the bird was in the picture. The words are funny and rhyme which was alot of fun for her. Once she was reading it continued to be a favorite. We purchased another copy of the book for a niece because this story was so enjoyable.

We first saw this book on "Between the Lions" and I thought it was quite witty for a kids book. It's a quick (but not too quick) read through simple and humorous rhymes. Mrs McNosh hangs the laundry -- and anything else that happens to come reach -- on her seemingly unending clothes line. While my 2 year old is more familiar with the clothes dryer than the clothes line, she enjoys the book and loves to tell me "that's silly" when some non-clothes item is added to the line. A very cute book and a household favorite for us.

Just bought this for my first grader and he loved it! The story was cute and the rhymes were clever. He was laughing through the whole thing. This was a great independent read for him as well. Highly recommend!

This book is wonderful! My 5 year old granddaughter loved it so much I had to read it 3 times in a row for her. It's funny, and the rhyming helps make it an easy read for a little one who loves to 'read' the book herself.

Acquistato come insegnante, letto in seconda per introdurre il lessico dei vestiti. Apprezzatissimo da me e dai bambini, belle immagini, testo in rima, svolgimento chiaro e intuitivo.

Preschoolers love this book. Lots of opportunities to work on speech and language with this book. Would recommend it for sure.
