Review: Excellent alternative to light duty compression socks - After several surgeries on my foot, I am near the end of needing surgical dressings for my nearly fully healed wound. At a recent post op visit, one of the nurses unrolled a length of Tubigrip size D 10m and gave me a couple of lengths to use as an alternative to compression socks which I have always had trouble putting on. I was amazed how well this tubular sleeve worked and how comfortable it felt even after many hours of wearing it. It was much easier to slide on and work into position, and I could cover my toes, or fold it back over. If you have trouble with compression socks, this is a great alternative. It gives mild support (only 10mmHg) rather than the 15-20 of light compression socks, but for me this was much better than wearing none. You might find it so as well if you have trouble getting compression socks on. Review: Good quality and price - Good quality and price. Worked perfect for my dad

It’s a good product. Better than using wraps you just have to determine what size you need for your arm leg whatever it’s really helped me eliminate my edema.

A great find
Our wound doctor recommends this product rather than compression socks. I was surprised. They cut double the length of the limb to be compressed or roll it up and roll it down. So a double layer of compression. The doctor says this is appropriate for flights as well as recovery. I’m thrilled. It’s so much easier to put on the compression socks. I recently had cancer removed from the back of my leg and was told to wear a compression socks by the surgeon. I was warned that without the compression socks, the wound could split. I decided to go back to using these tube compressions. They’re comfortable, excellent quality. Good durability, appropriate thickness. The only caveat is making sure you get the right size. The right size will give you the correct compression. I like that once I’m done, I can cut them off and size another stocking or I can wash and reuse it. I can’t tell you how much more I prefer these to compression socks.

Good answer for lower leg edema. Easy to use.
Great product. We used it instead of compressions socks for my mother when she had problems with lower leg swelling. We simply cut this to slip over her feet to cover her lower leg to the knee or above. This was at the suggestion of a wound care nurse. My mother could get them on and off herself, unlike compression socks that can be difficult to use without help.

The material is like what's used for lining a cast
It was not what I expected. I thought it would be like elastic compression stocking material. It is like cast lining material. More like stretchy cotton and not compression. I will return.
