The Heat Seekers

I truly feel that Zane is in a class by herself. Zane can write a book that makes a lot of sense and is sexy as well. For me the characters stay with me after I have read the book. So many times you really can't identify at all with the characters in books but Zane has a unique gift that makes you feel something real about the people you're reading about. I will say that while this wasn't Zane's best book it still is so much better than most books I read.

Zane is the reason why I write today, she's opened my mind in all of her novels, but I must say Addicted and The Heat Seekers are my favorite two. This novel wasn't like any of her other ones because she made you think about life and showed you that things like this happens everyday in real life. I can in a way relate to Tempest, I myself may not be able to conceive my own child but I do Lend out with helping hand to my friends and family that need it.

Great read & definitely a page turner with an abundance of love. Expect the unexpected! Twice as nice to read

I know that I am out of sync in read these books in order but this is one of the best novels I have read. I am an avid collector of Zane books. Have to read them all.

First of all I want to know where this title came from... It seems as though two of the main characters have deep dark secrets- one of which is revealed in the cover of the book (YAWN) The other character's Big BAD Secret is not really all that big and certainly not bad, we are lead to think that once the secret is revealed, we will be shocked. Well I was not shocked, I was disappointed.This is my first time reading a full length Zane book, sure the foreplay scenes were steamy, but just when you think they are going to flame out of control, its all over. Mostly all you get is the foreplay, next thing you are reading is the next day or the character is reflecting on how good it was. Well the reader has to guess since Zane does not expand past the foreplay.Janessa's whole world revolves around her 'best friend'- after all she was unable to get a job, find a decent man, get around town, find an apartment, all without her friend. How realistic is that.The ending was predictable, and boring. There were a few snicker moments, but nothing hilariously funny. Basically a snoozer. This book should be checked out at the library. I don't know why ZANE is compared to Eric Jerome Dickey...

Anyone who knows anything about erotica novels knows about Zane's writing. She puts so much heart ans soul into her work, the passion for her craft is always obvious. I would like to personally thank her for her dedication to satisfying erotica lovers such as myself!Keep up the good work!!!

THE HEAT SEEKERS IS A FANTASTIC LOVE STORY THE AUTHOR DID A SUPER JOB WITH THIS BOOK...THE TIL SAY IT ALL LOVE LOVE LOVE IT

I am a very big fan of Zane, but OH MY GOODNESS, I think someone else wrote this book for her! Nothing in it was like her previous works. I eagerly awaited the release of this book and even had it on order here at Amazon before it was released... IT [DISAPPOINTED]!! I absolutely never abandon a book because I always need closure, but I couldn't even finish it! And can someone please explain to me my girl ZANE's obsession with "midgets?!" I was very suprised to find that some readers gave this book 4 and 5 stars. The "secrets" that were "revealed" regarding Tempest and Darren... BORING! I read Zane's other books in 2 days or less... It took me 2 weeks to read Heat Seekers and I still didn't finish it. Every time I put it down it was too hard to pick back up. I'm looking forward to the next Zane novel because I believe she will make a come back! There's nowhere to go from Heat Seekers but up!
