Perfect!
I first heard about this type of product in a YouTube video. After watching, I did some investigating here on Amazon, and decided on this product. I'm glad that I did!First off, I love that this fits onto a keyring. Many of these products are designed to go into your glove compartment, but the problem that I have with that concept is that in the event of an accident, the glove compartment might pop open, sending the contents flying all over the car, and you might not be able to find or reach the tool. With this product, it's on your keyring, and your keys will almost certainly still be in the ignition, and easily accessible. To test the functionality, I gathered a couple of old garments that don't get worn anymore and tested the blade used for cutting a seatbelt. The garments I tested this with aren't as rigid as the material of a seatbelt, but with how easily it sliced through them, I don't doubt that it could cut through a seatbelt with ease. To test the window punch, I used an old window off of the apartment that was lying in the garage. Yeah, it shattered it instantly. Shards of glass went everywhere! So, I have no doubt that it would break your car window with ease. All in all, this is something I think everyone should have on their keyring. Not only to potentially save your own life, or the life of a loved one, but also to potentially help a stranger in the event that you witness or come across an accident where this tool could be of use.

This is a must for your car. Former paramedic here.
Just like the video shows. If you’re trapped in the car, this will cut the seatbelt and break the window safely. I would hang it from the rearview mirror that way it’s instinct when you get it. These are relatively inexpensive, and it could save your life. Especially if your car goes into the water. Often times in an accident doors are jammed, closed and cannot be open from the inside. This will help you escape from the car. For paramedic of 31 years here.

Like it so much got another!
Got one for every single family member and I had to replace mine as it broke after being attached to my car keys for about 8 years. That’s daily use and abuse of it being in my pockets with my very active and working life. I do not fault the item at all as it held up with all the abuse for so very close to 10 years. It does cut seat belts with ease and breaks glass like it was nothing. Get one for every vehicle you have and anyone you care about just as I did.

Nice glass breaker for emergency.
the glass breaker is great, the blade is adequate for cutting. I'd buy a higher quality one, but the price this is perfect.

I hope I won't ever need it but still good to know it is there...
When it comes to safe transportation, I try to take every preventive measures no matter how unlikely I will ever need it. First aid kits, flashlights, safety triangle, fire extinguisher, light reflecting outfit and finally this one, these make make up my doomsday inventory so far. Among them this may look to be the most extreme item but believe me people do get trapped in the car and unfortunately lose their lives just because they can not free themselves in time.I am afraid I don't have hands on experience about how this device works and I would never want such an experience, but just by writing the name resqme on youtube you will instantly see over 20 videos about that device. There you will see that it can really cut through the seat belt with one blow and somehow pulverize the window glass within seconds... So when you need it, if you can keep calm, it may take less than 30 second to get yourself out of the vehicle which would otherwise take minutes or not be possible at all.Due to great reviews and demonstrative videos, I purchased this item. I paid around $10 for a single one but sometimes there are bundles on amazon and you can buy a dual pack for $15.Although it is designed as key chain which is how you can keep it accessible on an operating car (provided that you don't have one of those new keyless devices) but like many other reviewers, I did not put it on my keychain. Although it is as small as it can be, still takes up some space in your keychain and feels bulky. Besides, since it has a built in blade, it may be misunderstood as a knife and put you some headache in airports and places like that. So, to me the best place to carry it is in the glovebox in a tiny case. But make sure that at no circumstance, it moves from where you put it and that you can access it easily from where you are trapped. This solution may not be ideal for some people and/or cars but then I advise you to look for a place that you can use for the purpose.I wholeheartedly recommend this product for anyone who values their life and wants to raise the safety level of their car trips and wish that you will never ever need to use it...

Makes a great gift
Keep it in the center console or on your keychain. You never know when you might need it. This might save your life.

I hope I’ll never know
I’ve seen videos of people testing this and it seems great. I bought everyone in the family one.The only thing is the razor blade is easily accessible and can be used for more than a seatbelt cutter, so not ideal for a kid to have and definitely not allowed to be carried in backpacks for emergencies.

Nice feel
I did not try it in a real life scenario however, it seems to be a nice quality and I will be keeping it in the car.
