Great for Ministry

I bought this to easily be able to port a tripod to church and back (to Facebook live broadcast the sermons from my cell phone) in my regular-use oversized purse without having to carry a completely separate tripod bag. While the low, triangular base looks unstable with the cell phone alone at top, it does well for the purpose I bought it for--and, to boot, it does not take up as large of a real estate footprint given the base is low instead of starting at the camera mount. This is a plus with limited space between congregation pews.$20 great price! And, great product for no-fuss, easy, quick grab-n-go, hands free, cell phone video chats/record--though can be top-heavy and easy to tip over if user's not paying attention.Dimensions:--Tripod only: extendable body (not legs)14.5"* - 50" height (per mfr.)(my unit measured 13.5", & bonus is that cell holder can even achieve lower 12.5" if desired) ONLY in increments of 14.5", 24.5", 34.1", 43.5" & 52.2" (as twist-lock extension pole design)-- Cell: 2" - 4" wide opening*[* 2.25"min/4.25"max width if cram device/item through non-arm side of holder), but can take any height (as only 2 side bar arms--not 4-way like tablet holder). ++ That being said, technically, if one could find an after-market bolt that fits (say from a hardware store), the arms could be as wide as the bolt--though the problem would become how top-heavy (hence) unstable the tripod would be depending on weight of device/item holding.]The single ("selfie") pole extension to get it to/from the 52" max height is WAY quicker than the leg-extension tripods (segments per leg to manually extend--though they give control of any increment height). Super quick to set up, and a breeze to use. The only issue I have is the clap that holds the phone. I feels a little bit cheap.

Filming videos on an iPhone 6. Don't have to take the phone out of the case; it fits in the tripod perfectly. The remote control doesn't stay connected. It'll work fine once or twice per session and then stop, so I wind up not using it at all. But the tripod is great. I appreciate the wide height range. I can use it full height or collapse it down to use on a table.

**Quick update**:I needed help with a minor problem and the seller was immediate to offer an easy solution. I really appreciate their attentiveness and help :)This selfie stick tripod has been a trusty asset of my recent solo vacation. I'm very particular about how my photo gets taken and, being a little bit of a ham, I enjoy taking multiple photos in different poses, with different expressions, and get a second or third shot to make sure I look just right in my cute outfits against a cool background. Yes, I'm a big ham and I don't want to bother people with all of my requests. Instead, I can take my time and enjoy being a ham at my own pace - getting all the poses my camera-loving heart desires.While the tripod being lightweight is a big plus (compact and light enough to comfortably fit into my day backpack), it can easily tip over if there's a strong breeze or if it's not placed on even ground. Those have been easy fixes and not a big deal when I gush over all the wonderful photos and memories this little tripod helped me capture. Also, sometimes the remote has to be pressed twice before the phone's camera reacts so that's something I have to keep in mind. But I really appreciate that the remote is rechargeable and I don't have to waste resources on disposable batteries.
