Cool mellow tone
Great mouthpiece, good intonation in all registers.

Great mouthpiece!
This is very good quality mouthpiece for the price. I have since upgraded to a better model, but still love the quality of this one. I have bought one for my daughter who is just starting to play. Very much worth the money. Just keep in mind -- UNLIKE the picture shows on here, there is NO ligature with it. You must buy a separate ligature.

Very good replacement mouth piece.
My daughter broke her original mouthpiece and we bought this as a replacement. It works perfect. Was easy to install and is of very good quality. I see no Cons.

NOT Hard Rubber
I did as much research as possible on this and it says "hard rubber" everywhere, and doesn't say plastic anywhere. For the price, I was expecting a cheap hard rubber mouthpiece, NOT an expensive plastic one. It plays well enough, but I am extremely disappointed at the deceptive marketing.

a Great Mouthpiece for not too much moolah
I'm a beginning sax player who purchased an alto. The original mouthpiece was okay, but this is a definite improvement. Rich lower register and brilliant highs, and that's the mouthpiece. It aint me.

For the price this mouthpiece is great for a beginner
For the price this mouthpiece is great for a beginner. No negative comments, but the sound is a little bright for concert band.

A great mouthpiece
The Hite Premiere mouthpiece is a great product and value. I also purchased the ligature (sold separately) and my son prefers it over the mouthpiece that came with his Yamaha Alto Sax.

Photo shows ligature, but no ligature is included
The mouthpiece itself is good for the price, but the picture clearly shows the mouthpiece with a ligature on, and the mouthpiece does not come with a ligature. The description of the mouthpiece does NOT state that the ligature must be purchased separately. It's not a huge deal if it isn't, as ligatures aren't necessarily expensive and fairly readily available, but it needs to be made more clear in product description and/or pictures. I included a photo of what the packaging looks like when the mouthpiece was delivered.
