This product does exactly what its intended to, and that's to startle intruders, or notify the owner of surprise entrances or exits. Its loud enough up front to startle anyone that isn't expecting it, and hopefully cause the intruder(s) to run away in fear. If you are upstairs, or are many rooms away with loud background noise, it could potentially drown out the alarm. So do not only rely on the noise of this alarm for safety, please please please always be aware of your surroundings and be safe and cautious. Otherwise this product is great, works simply, and is easy to install with adhesive attached to the back of each device. It also comes with batteries in each device, but just go ahead and order extras so that in the future you always have them to replace dead ones right away. It works as intended, however I have to warn people not to install this around kids/babies/toddlers/pets and if you can wear ear plugs because it’s been four hours and my ear won’t stop ringing since i briefly heard the alarm. It’s very frustrating and is showing no signs of stopping.There is no doubt I can hear it from my window well in my basement to my third story even with a fan. It sounds very legit and if I didn’t know better I would assume it was hooked up to a professional security system. I believe my neighbors would hear it in their own house, it’s that loud.This would be great for people with curious toddlers or kids who you fear might sneak out the door. You can set it high and they can’t reach it, the sticky tape is very impressive and strong.It works, gives me peace of mind.

This product does exactly as advertised. They are easy to install and VERY loud. I've only had for about a week but so far they seem to be functioning well. I have these only my doors and windows. They work perfectly for the door but I do wish they were just a little bit narrower to fit in the window better. Overall they work great especially for the price.

I bought this set of 5 for our travel to a Caribbean Island that had reviews of some of the homes being broken into. I bought this set for peace of mind when we left and slept at night. The alarm system is DEAFENING!!!!!! And that's how it should be! Easy to install and remove from the home we rented. The box even comes with extra stickers for both sizes. These are super super sticky. I had to take a knife to remove from the encasement of the doors, no damage even with knife. However luckily the doors were unfinished wood. Not sure I would use it on painted surfaces. For painted surfaces I would probably buy the 3M removable picture hanger stickers for the set. But I HIGHLY recommend these for home or travel! Excellent product!!

Some didn’t work, they’re loud and setup isn’t quite clear

Really easy to install. Was able to secure all the windows on the lower level. Much cheaper option than the pricey sensors that come with a home alarm system (ADT charges $15 for 1 sensor). The alarm is really loud and will definitely notify you if you're on another floor that someone has opened one of your windows or doors. Perfect for notification of unwanted guests, but also great for caretakers to prevent a child or adult with Dementia from wandering.

We are renting a townhouse in a pretty rough area of the city and needed something like this. The alarm is small and was super easy to install; it only took a few minutes. Our doorframe is not aligned with the door, so I put 5 layers of thick double-sided tape under the main part of the alarm (the part that sticks to the door) until it aligned with the smaller part on the doorframe. It works perfectly! We installed it on our front door, located on the first floor. We can hear the alarm all the way upstairs in our bed. This purchase has brought me so much peace of mind!
