I found this to be a quick but efficient read.
I found this to be a quick but efficient read. The information was presented sufficiently without a lot of pretense or stumbling around to make a longer (and unnecessary) word count. Talia presents the differences between the similar yet different hands, how they were created under a few different times historic and present-day, and different practices using different holy books (The Koran or the Bible). She also includes the sideline that you may not practice monotheistically and therefore you would have to adapt the practices she outlines to follow suit with your belief system. There are some typical "recipes" of what you would put into a hand of your creation for love, money, protection, etc. There are several images including Arabic text (with translation of the text from the Koran), planetary symbols, Christian saints and what they are used for (and that's just a sampling of what is found inside the book). I found it a very well-thought out and planned book on the topic with a lot of ideas to jump start a practitioner into making hands for themselves. There is a nice bibliography in the back for those who like to peruse such things and use some sources as additional reading material as well.

Her knowledge is a powerful tool to learn from
Talia is very knowledgable and talented in her work as a spell caster. I trust her studious input, hands on knowledge and intuitive power. Her books are historically accurate, not simply new age, baseless and superficial as many magic books can be. She understands this power.
