Pros and cons to start with.Pros:***cheapest i could find on amazon***Very heavy duty, but just about all arbor presses are***Came greased to avoid rustCons:***I believe it is cast so there are a few blemishes on it where the metal hasnt filled the entire void***The handle could have been a little longer (but it is removable so its not so bad)I have attached some pictures that show the measurements of the parts of it which i would have liked to have known prior to purchase, but wasnt available on the pageAs you can see the diameter of the hole within the ram will accept up to a 9.5mm rod, however you will want to get a new screw as it is slightly too short if you wish to use a rod of a small diameter. Its a simple fix as it is only a 6mm bolt.The holes for you to secure it down with will accept 10mm bolts. And if you wish ti replace the small turntable, the hole for that is shown in the pictured as 6.3mmOverall i am happy with my purchase and gave it 5* on account of the low price range, but good quality.If they could improve something, it would be the amaxon page, not the product. They could include more pictures and/or more information

I needed to punch small motors out of electrical devices and this has solved my problem. It's sturdy, allows me to attach different size drill pin punches and tighten them in place. Mine came with one set screw missing, which is an inconvenience but I can replace it for free by hunting in my garage for a suitable screw, though the vendors offered to pay for it. I'm a little disappointed the price has gone down since I bought mine but it has still been a good investment and I'll never need to buy another.

I've been hand punching rubber & leather gaskets for some years until arthritis now makes it almost impossible to hold the hand punches. So, I thought I'd try an arbor press - I now wish I'd bought one years ago. It makes it so easy even on thick rubber sheet, however, the punches have to be really sharp otherwise it makes a real hash job. Now the bad bit, the box the press came in had holes smashed in the sides because it wasn't secured in the box. Opening it, the lever securing screw was broken in half ( I can replace that) the gear securing collar had fallen off and with the holes in the box I was surprised it was still in there. The press itself was absolutely covered in old black grease which took and age to clean off. My impression was that this item was a return that had been used and sent back broken. However, after a good clean and setup it's working as it should. It's quite small and has enough force to easliy punch thick rubber gaskets at 40mm dia. It will need securing to the bench for what I use it for though. Was it worth the money, probably not, would I recommend, personally I'd buy a better one now I know what it can do.

This is a heavy built press . I needed it to peen over some copper rivets, I needed to extend the handle to get full pressure on the job but with the heavy cast frame of the press coped really well and be can be used for many usages

Arrived well ahead of schedule which was a plus.The press itself is fine but a vital screw arrived badly damaged and unusable. Luckily we were able to cut away the damaged tip and managed to get it to hold.

Ideal for using with leather dye cutters. Solid machine. Real heavy duty.
