Safety Wire Twister Revers Pliers 8-3/4"

I got the cheap $20 set off amazon initially... I found them difficult to clam and they are horrible to cut with. Having used someone elses prior to buying the cheap set I knew there was something better out there...I grabbed these knowing it was risk free through Amazon, if I didn't like them I could return them. They are my primary wiring tool and they leave very little to desire. They are easy to clamp, the return mechanism is awesome since you don't have to let go of anything, the ability to reverse the twist is simple, and they cut great 99% of the time. The only place I see room for improvement is if you put the wire all the way down in the throat of the cutters they miss the cut sometimes.If you're using safetywire pliers all the time or are just a fan of high quality tools, I would certainly encourage you to get these

Good quality safety wire pliers, use them as an aircraft mechanic would recommend

I’ve used a ton of swaps and this style is pretty much the best. The locking clasp is operable with one hand for thinner wires. The reversible twist is useful, but I have seen that mechanism break. This is my go to pair, I’d recommend.

Image shown is actually the larger version. The pair I received are the sorter. The description is correct however. Although I was hoping for the larger pair this will suit my needs just fine.

I've had these for a little while now, and they've been awesome. They are a little stiff, but with a little bit of Kroil or other non-corrosive lubricant, they feel great! Highly recommend for my aircraft mechanics... These got great reach on them, as well.
