Nature Anatomy: The Curious Parts and Pieces of the Natural World

This is a beautiful book filled with great information and stunning drawings of various land forms, animals, plants, and more. It really was a great tool that I used while teaching my sons their homeschool work on science and nature. They loved learning and often would draw some of the items described and shown throughout the book. I really enjoyed opening it up to read to them and share too. I truly recommend this book for every family with young kids, however I also recommend it to adults, because it is not solely child-based and was really cool for those who want to learn about the natural world around them.

I love this book. The illustrations are gorgeous and the content is engaging. My children ages ranging from 3-11 are all able to get something from Nature Anatomy. Level up your nature walks by having this book as a reference to reflect on what you saw afterwards.

I love these wonderful books by this author! If you are a dire hard nature lover like myself who lives a bit remotely well, then this book is for you. The book has a wealth of detailed nature information with drawings and explanation of plants, animals insects etc. I also liked her Farm Anatomy book too. I personally love reading all kinds of books on nature as you learn something new always and can apply it to when you are out in nature. I would give this as a gift for any nature lover and adults and kids will find it very useful and it is an enjoyable read for all. This book is very timely for our time because global warming is destroying the planet.....we have only one planet and need to take care of Mother Nature for the next generation.

This is an adorable and fun book. I have skimmed through it, but am looking forward to reading it for sure. Very nice cover and pictures.

Wonderful book for curious children's minds. My grandchildren spend hours looking through this book. Facts are about 99% accurate.

I bought this for myself at a local garden shop & have given it as a gift so many times. So inspiring & informative, great for grownups and kids. It is one of many in a series of great books by the author.

I bought this at the recommendation of a children’s science curriculum… It’s so incredibly beautiful, fun, and interesting to read. Now I have been introduced to the world of Julia Rothman’s anatomy series and I am obsessed. Not only is it a good pairing with our science curriculum, it has sparked a new curiosity in ME that has made me feel so excited about this and other books of Julia Rothman’s that I’ve ordered. Truly spectacular.

Ursprünglich hatte ich das Buch für meine 9-jährige Tochter gekauft, aber es ist inzwischen bei allen Familienmitgliedern äußerst beliebt. Die Illustrationen sind durchweg liebevoll und ansprechend gemacht, so dass man automatisch auf den Seiten hängen bleibt und mehr darüber wissen will. Die Informationen dazu sind kurz und knapp und schaffen es doch, das Wichtigste zu vermitteln. Ein Buch, das man gerne immer wieder ansieht!

It's like author's journal..it's good reference book..it's good enough to inspire young kids to explore nature around them and start journalling..though it's based on American landscape I still think u can use it as reference to do your own research about your own country landscape,nature,insect,animals.i got farm anatomy,nature anatomy and ocean anatomy..all are good books ..well packed with information and not too many photos but nice illustrations which is selling point of this books.if these types of books written about Indian nature,farming..small and simple contents..our kids will surely start doing there own journalling..and self study.
