Does not ship on ice
The product is great, however, it needs to be kept refrigerated and the two times I have ordered this it came in regular packaging and NOT on ice. Who knows how it is stored at the warehouse or if the cultures are even viable anymore.Vital Flora makes a non-refrigerated version which is what I will order going forward and what I recommend everyone order when purchasing from Amazon. $70 is a lot to spend on probiotics that are no good due to improper storage and shipping.

Refrigerated or not? Message has changed
I originally reviewed this product as 4 stars. It was expensive but came refrigerated which good probiotics usually need. I did my research on this months ago when I ordered it. My latest one didn’t come refrigerated but I see they said it doesn’t need refrigeration for short transit. That is something I need to look into because it doesn’t seem realistic. I also didn’t immediately open the package because I wasn’t home when it was delivered and I have it on subscribe and save so I didn’t even realize it came yesterday and now I’m worried these expensive pills will not be as effective.
