Modway Engage Mid-Century Modern Upholstered Fabric Left-Facing Sectional Sofa in Azure

I like it. I just got it and it's nice and firm and looks great. I got to say I was skeptical but I'm tired of heavy furniture and I don't want to spend 4k.

We ordered the Azure left-facing sectional sofa and it was delivered per our requested date. We received a phone call from the freight carrier about a half hour beforehand, which was nice. We got our couch assembled in about 45 minutes. I'm glad I had read prior reviews, because my husband was ready to curse out the world thinking the legs were not in the packaging. They are zipped into the lining of the pieces! The material is almost like a fine tweed, it's not scratchy, but it is not microfiber or anything very soft, which you can kind of tell from the photos online anyway. I was expecting it to be on the firmer side (per other reviews) and it is, but it is NOT uncomfortable. I have fallen asleep a few times on this couch so far, and find it very cozy to snuggle on with my husband or the kids. This is in our casual living room, so it's not meant to be NOT lived on, but we have a much more squishy set in our family room.The style is EXACTLY what I wanted, and as advertised. Mid Century modern, low profile, big but not overly so (it doesn't take up the whole living room whatsoever) and super functional.The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is the piece that attaches the chaise to the sofa was not engineered correctly, so the holes did not line up and my husband had to have another set of holes drilled in the metal, but otherwise, I am completely satisfied!

Let me start by saying that I live in the US Virgin Islands and down here EVERYTHING gets ruined eventually by the salty humid air. However, I am obsessed with Mid-Mod style and I did not want to compromise style, function, and practicality. This couch is perfect for what I need and it is exactly as described in the photos. It's beautiful. It is very firm but I like that it's firm because it won't "sink" as quickly an the cushions will hold their shape for hopefully a long while. The seat cushions are removable but not reversible. They also have zippers on them and the covers look like they can come off. I will not likely try to wash them for a while though, if a situation occurs where they start looking dirty and I need to wash them then I will likely wash them in cold water, gentle cycle, and hang to dry. I am not sure how well the cushions will hold up as we've been using this couch for about 3 weeks. I worry that the areas where we sit the most will have "butt" indents. But only time will tell. Overall, it's a beautiful piece of furniture, feels very sturdy, the legs and base are very well made. Can't beat the price point for a beautiful mid century modern sectional. I will post pictures and update my review ASAP.UPDATED REVIEW!! DO NOT BUY THIS COUCH. We purchased this couch in February. It's now August and the couch cushions have started "sinking" and taking forever to puff back up. It's awful. If you move on the couch or switch positions, you're left with a dent where you were last. There is ZERO bounce/giveway to this couch. I have contacted the Modway company to see if they have any other cushions they could send me. I live in the USVI so I doubt sending it back will be an option as I had to go through freight forwarder to get it here. My only other option is to sell it and hope someone likes it better than I do.

I read the reviews and figured I wouldn’t mind a little more firm sectional. This thing is almost unbearable without throw pillows. Lots of throw pillows are recommended. It looks really stylish and is all around pretty solid but it’s not something you wanna fall asleep on. I’ve woken up many times after accidentally falling asleep on this in discomfort. The part your back is supported by is basically just a 90 degree wooden “L” wrapped in fabric. It’s a back breaker and your feet won’t touch the ground without throw pillows. Cannot stress throw pillows enough. Did I mention throw pillows?? Lol it looks really cool and I’m still into it but they could have designed it better for comfort and lounging.

We have had this at least a couple of years and it holds up great. My family are large folks who tend to flop down on furniture this frame is built to take that and the cushions are still great too!

Purchased this item a week ago - tried to assemble and use it, but it parts missing and the parts that were in the box were total garbage. The sofa doesn't stay together and I might add, is terribly uncomfortable and rigid. Wish I would have read all reviews. The other thing to note is the delivery service they used was terrible and never reported to amazon that it was delivered. Then they called me over 10x different times to deliver the item again. Calling me late in the evening, even after I told them I already had the item. This of course, made for a difficult return (bc it didn't show they delivered) from Amazon. I would avoid this sofa and seller.

Easy to assemble and looks great. The couch is pretty firm.

Although the ad says you're purchasing a "2 piece" sectional sofa I only received 1 piece for the $1408 I paid. :(
