Pentair 59023700 Manifold Top with Air Bleed Replacement FNS PLUS Pool and Spa D.E. Filter

Needed a replacement for Pentair FNS Plus D.E. Filter Model FNSP 48. Received it quickly and we easy to replace. One week in and all is working great. The old one was cracked and I started getting DE back in the pool, so hopefully this will take care of that.

I thought the filters were probably torn and leaking somewhere all last summer and had to deal with DE from the filter ending up in the pool all the time. Recently I took ALL of the filter apart and saw that the old manifold was severely cracked on the underside where I didn’t see it last summer. Changed out manifold (easy to do). It took about 20 minutes to change and put all back together and since then (a few weeks now), absolutely no leaking of DE! Pool is clear and sparkling. Bring on the summer swim season!Only complaint is the very high retail cost of what is about $5 worth of plastic. But it was quite a bit cheaper still than at Leslie’s Pool Supply. Got to look on the bright side.

I should have bought this a year previous to when I did.I had a cloudy pool, couldn't get it clear. Almost a whole summer with water problems with me shocking, cleaning filters, changing DE - drove me crazy! Before the next summer, I took apart everything from pump to filter, pvc valves, everything!! to find out what was causing my water to be cloudy. Almost by accident, when I flipped over my old manifold, I noticed a small split running along a plastic seam on the underside.I ordered this new manifold based upon size of my filter. Delivered within 10 days. I cleaned off the old filters, frisbee'd the old manifold across the lawn, and installed the new manifold.My water is super clear now. New manifold has been working for 3 months now with no problems.The build quality seems to be ok. It's plastic, don't know if it will last 10 years, but it's been working great this summer.

I purchased this for my Pentair FNS 60 pool filter. Original one was cracked. I was going to buy it locally however it was almost double the price and they were still going to charge for shipping. This was easy to install and lined up perfectly. Have had it on for about a month. So far so good.

Same model in black instead of white. Fit perfect. Put new ring on 2" feed tube. I use Vaseline on the feed tube ring and large rubber ring that circumnavigates the filter tank.The spa doesn't have diatomaceous earth in it since replacing. Extremely satisfied with fit and purchase.

This manifold is not an OEM item. The holes for the rods are not the correct size. I ordered the same part 5 years ago from the same supplier and didn't have any issues with it. I will need to drill out the holes to the correct size. Listed as OEM but it's the same as the Chinese junk sold for much less. Buyer beware.

i had replaced the filters in the summer & didnt clear up i bought this and bought the warranty broken 7 returned it i did clean it up before sending back...mis comunication i was charged a restocking feeverry visable i useed it & broke so i hope next time i get a good one...just sayin
