Neutrogena Transparent Facial Bar Bonus Pack, Original Formula - 3 ea

I have been using Neutrogena soap for years because its very gentle on my skin and this soap takes all your makeup off and is very gentle on my skin.

After seeing a dermatologist years ago he told me to only use Neutrogena soap and face lotion. The soap is nice and mild and smells so great. It never irritates the skin.

For all of my life I have purchased varieties of soaps for my morning shave. I have tried every (it seems so) soap I could find for my morning shave. The soaps that are sold for that purpose just don't hold the lather long enough. While living in London several years ago, I experimented with several English and American soaps and was not happy with any. So I tried a new approach. Ii cut the bar of Neutrogena in half and stuff into an empty cup and then place the cup into a microwave oven and heat for a minute or less until I have my shaving mug. By the next morning the mug has become a shaving loaded with hard set Neutrogena "shaving soap." It lasts for month and provides me with the best shaving mug I have ever used.

I was having an issue with face breaking out with red dry blotches. It felt like my face had been "hit with a blow torch" nightly. No matter what I did to try to stop the "onslaught" that was occurring NOTHING seemed to help my dilemma. I saw my Dermatologist and his diagnosis was 'I had might have become allergic to my cleansing products', which I had been using for many years! Suggested I switched to Neutrogena Transparent Facial Bar or Liquid and within two weeks my face clear again. The only other suggestion my doctor gave me do was "drink only non alkalized water". Nightly, after cleansing my face, I would use "Aquaphor" Healing Ointment over my face! That's it and I am very grateful and thankful for my "new lesson" in becoming "allergic to excellent products after many years of use"!

I've been using Neutrogena since I was a kid. It is advertised as unscented, but there is a slight "Neutrogena" scent that does not bother my fragrance allergies. I use it as facial soap and then add moisturizer. I've always felt it cleans really well. Nothing scientific about that but I think it's good for oily skin. As a bath bar, it is not hard milled so it "melts" quickly but I feel squeaky clean.

I love how it took the redness out of my face but the scent is horrible it makes me watch to throw up 🤢 I think I’ll get unscented next time

Tried the liquid form and it dried out my skin right away. Completely fine fferemt from the bar soap. Stick with the bars!

This soap is so gentle and at the same time so effective. Ive been using it for over 20 yrs and as long as it exists it’s the only soap I’ll use.
