Great Paper Plate Holders BUT…Check your plate sizes
I’m a full-time RV’er so seldom use paper plates because, well, no room for trash; saving the earth; all of that. 👍 But sometimes they are a perfect solution. For example serving meat or fish dishes, or more guests than my limited 2-dish set. 🤪PRO’S:•They look great!•They give stability to the plates for ease of use.CON’S:•Check the sizes of your plates! These didn’t work with my bamboo paper plates.•They are natural so they aren’t smooth. They could catch on some clothes or materials.

Too small!!
For whatever reason, my husband's default for his casual meals is to eat from a paper plate. We have plenty of dishes and a dishwasher but...? We used to have a stack of these plate holders--now they've all fallen apart or been torn apart by dogs. These were available at thrift stores, taped together in 10s or dozens. Not anymore. So--I ordered a four-pack here. The standard paper plate is 9". A plate would have to be about 8-1/4" to pop into these holders. The dimensions shown (9 x 9) would be the outer-most reaches of these holders. They are useless.

No brainer
I like using paper plates. One never has to wash plates. It's way more convenient for me. Only one catch: paper can be flimsy. One day I remembered a trick my mom used when we were camping. Paper plate holders. Too bad they were plastic. I hate plastic ANYTHING. So does Mother Earth. So I looked on Amazon. I found these. Bamboo! No brainer. Now I buy the flimsiest paper plates I can find. So this purchase has already saved me money. One caveat: split bamboo can be sharp. If you are in the habit of sliding your hands across the bottoms of plates, you might get poked. Also, these can "shed". You might have to pick up the odd piece of bamboo. Still a world better than plastic or food on the floor.

Great purchase
Finally! Paper plate holders that are actually larger than the paper plates. For years I've been using this type of paper plate holder, only to struggle with keeping the plates in the holders. The entire plate was the same size as the holder, making it difficult to keep the plate inside it. When these arrived, I was expecting more of the same. Imagine my surprise when I discovered that the holders were actually larger than the plates.I highly recommend these holders.
