Reliable, versatile
I installed 15+ of these several years ago, they have been very reliable and people love how many options they have to connect. I wish they offered a longer power cord or had a standard power plug in the top of them but they are absolutely amazing the way they are.

I have another one on order now - had to ...
I have another one on order now - had to go through Star Tech. The first one I received only functioned when using the HDMI input (vga, mini, sound, etc... doesn't work).

1st unit defective...
The media could not be loaded. Well i have received a unit and tried it out. It did not work connected directly to a 65" new Samsung. I tried different power outlets. There is no LED confirming power or activity of the unit, this would probably be good to incorporate into the design...I'm assuming the unit is defective. I have asked to have replaced... I will update after replacement unit is received.My plan is to use this in conjunction with a J-Tech Digital HDMI Extender By Single Cat 5E/6/7 Full Hd 1080P in order to extend multiple video inputs to the monitor.I hope the next one works...
