Suspenseful, Sexy, Smart, Sweet, Sometimes Scary, with a few Silly moments thrown in as well. All in all, a very Satisfying read! (Ok, enough of the S-words). Truthfully, the little town of Heart's Edge stole my heart! Heart's Edge's citizens are bursting with personality, the characters and the small town they call home are so beautifully depicted, I feel like I have truly been there! Warren and Hailey Sizzle! (Alright, I'm done. I promise this time!) But this little town is a dichotomy. On the surface is the quaint little tourist town out in the middle of no where...Montana, I think? Many of its citizens families have lived there for generations. Everyone knows everyone, and everyone is up in everyone else's business. Like the stereotypical small town. However, under that peaceful exterior is another level to this sleepy little hamlet. Layers of dark secrets, danger, and a horrible history that few people are aware of, and fewer still know the entirety of. There are things going on in the shadows of this little town, awful things, things that keep the people who do know living in fear. Knowledge is a danger that could spell disaster, not just to individuals, but to the entire town.Using the shadows for his own shady purpose, hiding in plain sight, but with a secret plan for revenge, Warren has returned to his home town supposedly to put down roots. The townsfolk think he is looking to buy a house, to find a wife, to raise a family and make a home here in Heart's Edge where he grew up, and to finally end the nomadic way of life he has been living since he first left home with his sister to join the military as a young man. She packs up her tiny apartment, and with her visiting niece in tow, she leaves town, heading on toward greener pastures. She hopes Chicago will offer her the opportunity to flourish as an artist while her heart heals. Her preteen niece and god-daughter is accompanying her so that they can spend some much needed girl time together while her parents are on a romantic vacation in Hawaii. Hailey is driving her sister's beautiful classic car, which decides to break down just outside of Heart's Edge. Stuck in town until the local mechanic can track down and get the part they need to fix the car shipped in, Hailey ends up renting half of a duplex cabin from Warren's grandmother at the Charming Inn that Warren is renting the other half of.Warren is afraid that the fascinating but way too observant beauty will discover his true reason for being in Heart's Edge, or unwittingly, because of close proximity, become a target of the dangerous man he is investigating, so he decides to run her off by being an absolute a$$hole to her. At the end of all of the books in this series there are also epilogues featuring the main character couple sometime in the future. Just wait, Heart's Edge will capture your heart as well!

Warren is suffering the murder of his sister, and hunting the evidence to bring down the culprit. Bagley lost her job, best friend, and fiance! Her sister is having marital problems! The the car breaks down. How much is one woman supposed to take! Read this tale, and enjoy watching them find the light at the end of the tunnel.

The novel keeps the reader guessing who the bad person is. Then he goes off like a crazy and it makes sense. The sex is hot and intrigue page turners.

Hayley West and her niece Tara never thought when their car breaks down, how much it would change their life.Hayley is heading to Chicago to start a new life. Her fiance cheated on her with exfriend / maid of honor, just before their wedding day. She lost her job and the art gallery gave her back her pictures and told her No one wanted them.So she decided it's time to start over. But she didn't think her sisters Mustang would break down. But her and Tara are stranded in Hearts Edge a cute little town. She breaks down near on beautiful inn. Charming Inn has rooms and cottages to rent. So Miss Wilma only has a duplex to rent while the car gets fixed. Mr. Bitters gives her the keys for the unit. But when opens the door and brings her things in a grumpy big man scares her half to death. Wants to know why she is in his unit. She tells him it's her unit. But he scowls at her. They start off on the wrong foot.He has a sadness about him and she has her own troubles.She tries staying away from him but forces pulls them together. His Grandmother Wilma likes Hayley and Tara. They warm up to each other. She gives her a job at Brody's, a bar and restaurant that Wilma owns. She hasn't worked as a waitress since her college days. But it's money so she can get the necessities that her niece and she will need.Warren is sad and grumpy because he's after the man he thinks killed his sister while they were deployed. She was killed by friendly fire. But Warren doesn't believe it. He is aggravated for Hayley being in the way. He doesn't want her pulled in to his business.But no matter what they do it doesn't work.Then her ex Eddy shows up and thinks Hayley will forgive him, but that's not happening. Warren intervenes and tells him to leave. He puts on an act that he and Hayley are an item.That night she explained what happened to her back in Seattle. He listens to her story. His opinion of her changes.They are great together like a little family. He likes Tara, thinks she's a great kid. And how devoted Hayley is to her niece.Their attraction grows each day. Then the guy he thought killed his sister is found murdered and the Sheriff thinks Warren did it, but Hayley, Tara and Wilma are his alibis.But now he has to think why would someone murder Dennis Bress?That's when Warren leaves town to find more info but on the way, something happens to Tara first then Hayley. The real murder has them both and Warren has to save them. Great story of suspense and the love of this big grumpy man to save them. How much he realizes he loves both of them.Can wait to read the next book.

One of my hot buttons is supposedly smart, educated people who use poor grammar and Nicole Snow is one of those. She needs to learn when to use "she" instead of "her," and "he" instead of "him." I'm from a small town in Wyoming and I know plenty of educated people there who know how to speak and write correctly. Where was the editor?Even so, I enjoyed this story and how Warren and Haley were able to help each other heal and find love and home. The HEA is necessary for me to enjoy a book and this delivered.

Really loved this book and the characters within. There are some major twists and turns as well as a whole lot of deep emotions in this book. REALLY liked this one.

Got halfway through the book and so far the only thing to happen is the cat getting mildly hurt in an animal trap. I have given up through boredom, sorry. I have enjoyed other books by this author, so not sure why this one is so drawn out. Its a shame as it could have been so much more enjoyable if it was a little more condensed.

No plot spoilers.It is a lovely little romance, with the added twist of murder and intrigue. I adored Tara's character and would have read the book just to get to know her! The FL is a strong, well written character, and the ML is enticing as a main character, apart from the fact that he is blind to what is going on. The man was special forces but it takes 13 years to uncover the truth? That was asking me to suspend belief just a tad too much.That said, it's a romance and it certainly delivers. There are some sex scenes each of them appropriate and loving. There is a potential trigger involving kidnap and violence but it is handled lightly.

Warren is an ex ranger, a handsome hunk of a guy living in one of his grandma`s hotel properties. He doesn't want company whilst he is trying to find out his sisters killer and he's a grouch to boot. Tanya is one crazy woman trying to get to another big city to restart her life after her fiancée cheated. She breaks down the Hearts Edge and gets the place next to Warrens. He doesn't want her there. The story is just a bit too long as all the action is at the end.

Warren is a man on a mission, whilst Hayley is looking for a new start following her broken engagement. With the sparks flying between them, what they didn’t expect was an intense attraction for each other. There’s something about Hayley that has him hooked, she’s managed to crawl under his defences, but will she prove fatal to his mission? Although this is a good suspenseful story with twists and turns you won’t see coming, it is also emotional and will tug at your heartstrings.

Well done again Nicole. Another brilliant book.Loved the storyline and the characters and their connection between them all.Absolutely adored Warren, Hayly, Tara and Grandma.A lovely heartwarming story that was a little tragic at times where I needed tissues but like I said a heartwarming story.Would love to visit Heart's Edge and Charming Inn. Such a magical place.
