Fit my Volvo Penta 2001 3.0 Engine like a charm, very will machined at a reasonable price.

I purchased this for my 2003 Volvo Penta 3.0 and it fit perfectly. Make sure that you compare you current head cylinder to this one as there are two different versions out there.I had it PSI tested by my local shop and it passed.I have put about 20/25 running hours on it and no issues to be found so far.Make sure that you follow the manual for tightening the rockers properly as the “tips and tricks” people tell you on YouTube are not always guaranteed.I would also recommend that you get 3 inch bolts for the water pump to help rotate it with a pry bar.5/5

I had a bad valve on my old 1999 Penta 3.0 head. Instead of replacing every valve and having the head machined I decided to buy this for the same price and just bolt it on. Works great and saved me weeks of hassle. So far I’ve run the engine for 4-5 hours with no issues. If any do arise I will be sure to update my review. I would definitely recommend if looking for a replacement head.

I was a bit skeptical because of the price but after receiving, inspecting and installing, I am completely satisfied with the head. Other options were 2 to 3 times more money and appear to be exactly the same as what I got.

Fit right on my 1996 volvo penta! After I got it together it started first crank and ran like never before! Definitely would recommend this to anyone with a 3.0

Instead of taking the boat to the shop for a valve job I just replaced the whole head came with valves and springs pre assembled, slap on a new head gasket and tighten everything back up, runs smooth!

Running great so far exact head fit on my volvo penta 3.0 gs

Haven’t out it on yet. But it was delivered early and looks great
