Exactly how we remember
Have been looking for this for a long time. My mum and her family are Hungarian and my Nan used to bake with this jam. It's not a traditional UK type jam, more like a spread. Brings back so many happy memories. Not overly sweet. If you're looking for a traditional UK jam this may not be for you, but try it as its amazing.

Will buy again and again addicted already
Amazing taste & superb quality I bought it at first as I just needed thick plum jam to make a traditional pastry recipe and never looked back just stocking up on this treasure so delicious and in the way reminds me of my grand grandma proper honest oozes with love product.

Damaged and open on arrival
Probably not the fault of the seller, taste is more like a prune than a sweet plum, quite thick, seems good quality. I'm grateful that there is no additives as I'm allergic to pectin, so will purchase again. Expensive for the size of jar, but probably more expensive to make and it's full of fruit.

This is the real plum jam that I was missing
This is a one of my favourites.Please note that it will not taste like any other plum jam you have tried.Some reviewers say this is not plum, but prunes. Sorry but you are wrong.This jam is made from 100% plums with nothing added and it is made via a very slow cooking process, while most of the moisture is gone. As a result you will get a very intense flavour, that is similar to prunes.In Hungary this type of jam is very well known, but clearly this is not the case in the UK.

Real jam!
This is a real plum jam, not prune. It tastes phenomenally well! It’s delicious! I’ve always liked Hungarian food and this jam didn’t let me down! Amazing!!!No problem with delivery.

Awesome quality
Awesome quality and it's exactly like how my mother made it when I was a child. It feels like a time travel. It's hard to describe a flavour to somebody who doesn't know szatmári szilva and who knows doesn't need any description :) Good packaging as well so you don't have to worry about the glass. Highly recommended, will order more

Received different damaged item
I received item with loose lid on it. For this reason I haven’t tried it, I’m not sure if someone opened it in the warehouse before, or why the lid was loose on the jar. Also there is a dent on the lid, possibly that’s why the lid was loose. I waiting for getting refund. Otherwise it’s look like a good quality product. I will definitely try in the future. I’m not gonna try it, because the lid was loose so I can’t tell you how it taste , however I’m not going to ruin the company reviews, so I give 4 stars even if I received different, damaged item.
