I ordered this book Used/Good, however it was NOT disclosed that when I opened it the pages would all be upside down! I'm sure I'll get some funny looks reading this one in public, little disappointing.Content wise, this was just what I was looking for.I am writing this review in case others order a not-new copy so they know that an upside down book is a possibility!!

Excellent textbook and good reference work for those in the profession.

That's perfect.

The author's enthusiasm on the subject definitely shines through in this book. He invites you on this journey through time and space to stop and think about some of the most iconic and familiar built signs, symbols, and structures that you recognize and maybe even encounter in your day-to-day life, but haven't really ever contemplated their stories and how their presence and specific design actually has impacted you.

By harnessing an extensive knowledge of the niche between the worlds of Architecture and Graphic Design this book wonderfully illustrates what happens at the pinnacle of collaborative study. A book which definitely deserves a spot on the shelf of any self-respecting design enthusiast.
