No longer be afraid of mistakes! Just don't use in a scanner!
I've used these pens since I was in middle school. I have to say the erasure seems to not be as good as it did awhile back, but I still use them. But because the ink is like a rubber, it will stick to the top of your printer/scanner and leave marks and streaks that only Goo-Gone will get off. SO BEWARE! Otherwise still my favorite. Wish they were refillable!

Just what I needed
I use these to do crossword puzzles. Even though I know most of the answers I sometimes spell it wrong. Or my writing is terrible and I wish to neaten it up a bit. These are really hard to find in the stores anymore.

Price of items wheen more than one to choose from.
Product very satisfactory but very high priced. I saw other Paper Mate Eracer pens for much less. Very hard to tell the price of item. I did not realize I ordered this priced one. Not happy.

Found Them
I love to write in ink when I'm doing my budget or writing in a journal, but I hate having to cross things out or white out, so I ise erasable pens. Couldn't find them in my local stores so I ordered some. They work well.

I found something better called Faxion clicker eraser pen
I have used these pens for years and only had one complaint. That is the ink skips as i write. I found something better called Faxion clicker eraser pen. It comes in 3 colors; black, red and blue all in one package. I still like my erasermates but just not as much as I used to. Wondering if you should buy them? Yes, I think it is okay to use at home, but not for any important documents and such.

These are great, but my granddaughter stole them so she loves them too. She is a journal enthusiast. She would know. 😆

Bad quality pens
I used to use these when I was in high school - I don't remember the writing quality being so bad. The ink comes out unevenly and very faint. They don't erase as well as I remember either - the ink smears and leaves dark splotches on the page that don't come off. I'm glad I found the Pilot FriXion brand, they work much better as erasable pens. I won't be buying the EraserMates again.Edit: I recently received a pack of these from someone and have come to the conclusion that the erasers on my old ones were dried out. These ones erase much better, but the writing quality is still poor. I've upped my rating slightly because they now seem to erase without smearing the ink everywhere. These are cheap pens, but they're fine for around the house.

Poor ink quality, and does not erase completely. You really need to write over your mistakes to cover up the smudges.
The pens do not write well, nor erase very well unless you press very lightly and erase immediately after the mistake, 10 seconds is too long to wait. They produce blotchy ink reminiscent of a dirty print cartridge on a printer. If you are looking for a good pen, look elsewhere... if you are looking for an erasable pen, compared to a regular pen, this is much better, but as a true erasable pen it is maybe a 6.5/10.

Not a real erasable pen
Very disappointed in this pen. it writes well but doesn't erase well at all. I've purchased many types of erasable pens and this if BY FAR the worst.

Erasable Pens
This pen does not flow easily, and often only writes if held perpindicular, which is not a comfy way to write letters. I have had many erasables that were awesome, this one is not.

not the best eraseable pens
They write fairly well but don't erase fully. You can still see the ink mark. And you can only erase on the spot. After a while the ink becomes permanent.
