Had PHILIPS shavers for over 40 years, this is the best by far, so smooth clean shave no friction or burns, good battery life with percentage left, not cheap but you get what you pay for,

For the price, it should be better than 'alright'. Picked this same set up from a certain high street store for £330, and whilst there is an improvement over the previous 9000 series in performance, the thing lights up the display to tell to the remaining battery percentage or the lock symbol everytime it is moved. I saw this as a design flaw, since you're using battery power everytime you nudge it accidentally or constantly if in travel.

Best razor I’ve ever used

Fantastic shaver before purchasing this shaver I had the previous model which is just the 9000 not the prestige I thought it was great but this goes to a new level it’s got different settings for people who have sensitive skin I’ve used it both wet and dry it does a great job either way but wet shave is as good as any manual wet shave razor I didn’t buy mine from amazon it comes in a beautiful luxury travel case connects via usb to a cordless charger meaning you could use an ordainary usb lead to connect it to a laptop or computer for charging

These products go wrong literally days after their warranty ends.I have surcombed time after time buying Philips products and always the same story. They are timed to go wrong after warranty.This time the repair shop is unable to repair so I have to foot out another £300 plus to replace less 10% offered as an incentive but never again.I NEVER buying philips again. Its time to learn

As a 30+ year user of Norelco shavers, this has to be one of the best! The shave is comparable to a blade, the design is elegant, it has good battery life, and it is easy to maintain. I loved my Norelco 8240 shaver but had to set it aside because I was unable to acquire genuine blades (there are however ample non-genuine blades available, most of which are quite inferior). I highly recommend the Norelco Prestige.

But keep in your mind that the perfect device has not been developed yet :)

Provengo da un Philips serie 3000. Ho sempre usato la lametta non più di 2 volte a settimana per via della pelle delicatissima. In passato provai rasoi elettrici ma con risultati pessimi, in quanto mi facevano irritazione a livelli estremi. Dopo anni ed età avanzata (40 per intenderci) ho deciso di provare un rasoio elettrico base per vedere come si sarebbe comportata la mia pelle con anni in più e tecnologia rasoi migliorata. Già con la serie 300 mi trovai bene. Nessuna irritazione e livello rasatura molto buono, da non paragonare alla lametta ovviamente. Ma più che altro per vedere se riuscivo a fare barba e capelli contemporaneamente con lo stesso rasoio. Ed il risultato fu positivo. Poi ho deciso di comprare un rasoio serio. Ed ho optato per questo top di gamma con bordi arrotondati per arrivare meglio ai bordi (tipo naso ed orecchie), ma più che altro perchè ha le testine con tecnologia a doppia lama rispetto al serie 3 o 5... Risultato?!?!?!?!? Piacevolmente entusiasta. Rasoio ECCEZZIONALE non irrita minimamente anche se ho la pelle estremamente delicata. Faccio anche i capelli. Ed ho un effetto "quasi a lametta" in contropelo!!! Non mi resta che dare 10 stelle. NB. Io uso sempre un poco di schiuma da barba pronto uso per agevolare la scorrevolezza e lascare la pelle più idratata in rasatura. Non ho provato a secco.

Tras haber recibído la afeitadora hay que decir que sus acabados son de primera, peso ligero y facil manejo. Me decidí por este modelo tras haber leido casi todos los comentarios de la serie 9000 prestige, en mi caso se carga directamento con el cargador no el sistema inalambrico el cual encarece demasiado su precio simplemente por tenerlo cuando el final es tener una maquina efectiva y no centranos en su cargador por que si digeramos que cargara más rápido pero es todo lo contrario trada 3 horas segun especificaciones, no tiene sentido.El afeitado es muy bueno no da tirones y sus apurado es espectacular. Para ser mi primera maquina de afeitar eléctrica no me arrepiento de haber escojido un modelo inferior, ya sabemos que lo bueno no es barato asi que el esfuerzo ha valido la pena.Producto muy recomentado.
