HairMax Laser Band 41 - (FDA Cleared) Hair Growth Device - Restores Natural Hair Cycle with Red Light Therapy

I have had the HairMax Laser Band 41 for almost 2 years. I use it after I wash my hair which is generally every two days. If I am traveling, I do not take it with me. It works for me. I am 71 years, my hairdresser suggested it, and I am not disappointed. My hair has grown back and I have stopped shedding worse than my cat. I cannot speak for everyone, as it is my understanding that hair loss is a result of many reasons, mine is old age. What really sold me was the fact that my eyebrows were very thin and I purchased a regrowth product that worked, so I was encouraged that my hair would grow back as well. I have always had thin fine hair, so I will never have a massive thick head of hair, only what I had in my youth, but that is better than the alternative. The only problem I have now is the unit itself seems to be malfunctioning. It runs for a small amount of time, then turns off as if I had not charged it. I have been charging it in the cradle, so now I am just charging it from the port on the headband itself. We shall see, it is currently charging as I write this. It is a very expensive unit to quit working after a little under two years. I hope the work around is successful. If not I will contact the company and see what options are available. Apparently the cradle connections are not enough to charge it properly. It is working at this time.

The device helps reverse thinning when used regularly. Don't expect miracles. That said, after 3 years of use the battery no longer charges and there's no way to replace it. Really?? I mean, if I can buy a replacement for my Roomba, why not for this??? A $500 device that's used 10 minutes per week should last more than 3 years.

I purchased the hand held unit first to see if it would work. It worked so well, that I decided to invest in the band. I love the ease of use, and the results I am having. I am in my 60's and was watching my part get wider and wider. Since using, my hair is now full and lush again. Even my hairdresser noticed the new growth and the added volume to my hair. Can't say enough about how good this works.

Ordering the Hairmax Ultima 12 Laser Comb from QVC in 2015 was a game-changer. Prior to that, I had tried just about everything, even seeing a dermatologist specializing in hair loss. I use it religiously as directed. I decided to upgrade and got Hairmax LaserBand 41, so happy I did I can now use the Laser Comb for travel. The proof is in how my hair feels, and its texture. HRM

I've been using this for a while now and it has way more lights than my first hand held one, so easier and a lot less time to use. It is working well - my hair is doing and looking great - not falling out easily. It charges pretty fast and the charge lasts pretty well but the instructions say to charge after each use which I think seems unnecessary and overkill. I was really expensive though, so that's my only complaint.

I have been using these for over four years and it actually works. I am not so sure that it makes hair grow but it definitely keeps hair from falling out as fast. There is a lot less hair in my hair brush and I don't have to clean the hair brush nearly as often as I used to.

I purchased this device because of the described advantage of the comb like teeth’s ability to separate the hair allowing for the full benefit of the laser. This product has to be repositioned every few minutes to get the described benefit of the lasers to the scalp in the thinning areas. I love the fact that it is cordless but the timer vibration with beeping notifications seem constant and are not pleasant when trying to relax and enjoy the treatment. I have thinning long hair and noticed more hair strands pulling away from my scalp after using this product every other day for about a month. The minimum treatment time is 12 minutes No information on how long one could exceed the minimum. Decided to return.

Despite using consistently, my hair loss is worse than ever. I paid $600 and wonder if this device is a fake or some kind of fraud.
