Device is terrific and we R delighted!
This light works very well as does the integrated microwave motion sensor! The sensor is so good I thought it did not work at first. It turned out that merely opening the basemen door turns on the basement light at the bottom of the stairs. We thought the sensor was not working because every time I checked, the light remained on and would not turn off in 30 seconds as advertised. After trouble shouting the situation I carefully and slowly opened the basement door and to our surprise the light was off. As soon a I started down the stairs the light went on. We recently purchased two TriBurst Multi-Directional LED Lights at the same unit price but they do not have the motion sensing capability. The UFO Deformable lamp is much better because it has the motion sensing capability. I don't normally write extensive reviews, but we R so pleased, I took the time to write this.

Helpful Tips
I purchased four of these for use in my garage ceiling fixtures and they are seriously bright. It's light as day in my garage now; just don't look at the lights, otherwise you'll be seeing spots for a while.I found this product after I received an ad from an Amazon seller for a similar item; which was overpriced. I kept combing through the search results because you'll find different sellers offering the same item with no to slight variations.I learned to avoid the version with a motion sensor and then found this product; which was approximately $10.00 cheaper than the other products. To me, it looks better with the black heat sinks.I love the practicality of the design and they are well made. Installation couldn't be any easier and the light output is blazing; I have 28,800 lumens lighting up my garage for the energy cost of four 55 watt bulbs.I would suggest adding the Squaretrade 3-year warranty for $2.38 each; it's cheap insurance against premature failure.**** UPDATE ****No problems whatsoever with any of the lights since installation. I love how bright they are; it makes a huge difference in my garage.

I feel sorry for the spider
I have a garage that doubles as a workshop. Like virtually every non-custom home built in the US, it's got one incandescent light socket right in the center of the ceiling. For a two-car space, that's just inadequate. I don't care so much about being able to reeeaaally see my cars when parked in there, but I DO want to see the woodworking projects better so I can avoid mistakes or lopping off a finger. This light screws right into the existing socket and allows you to throw light in three different directions. When you turn it on, it pauses for a second, as if to ask "you SURE you're ready for this? Well OK, you asked for it..." Then it blazes forth in unparalleled glory. Suddenly angels sing and you feel a need to kneel in the presence of God. I mean you can see everything: every corner of the room, every label on every container; it's so bright I can even see my wife's point of view despite being divorced for 15 years. All I can say is that it perfectly lights that garage space such that if you open the door from the house at night when that light is on, you'd swear it's daytime in there. About the only regrettable thing is that I suspect it's blinded the little spider that's lived up near that light for years and keeps the bug population low. He must think the world went supernova.

Nice while it worked
Was fairly bright when it worked. It did work for 3 years...one panel started flickering one day, then everything stopped working the next day. Bummer, but it was bright & super easy to install, so that was great.

Wow! Maybe too bright?
I have a three-car garage with 2/3 of the ceiling about 18 feet high and the other third about 10 feet high. I had 3 separate 8 foot CFL lights a few years ago, but have had constant issues with ballasts going out and the bulbs not producing enough light in the winter due to the cold temperatures. I bought the 2 pack of 7500 lumens lights hoping it would be a little better. So far, I've only installed one in the 10 foot high section (Didn't want to break out the 15 foot stepladder until I was sure I liked them. I pulled the CFL fixture down and installed a standard light fixture, then screwed in the new LED lights. Amazingly bright! The whole job took about 10 minutes. I can't believe I didn't do this a long time ago. My only concern with the lower ceiling is that the lights are so bright and so close to the floor that I can see where they might make it difficult to work in that area--seriously, it's almost annoyingly bright. I might even design a screen to dim it a little. We'll see... I have no doubt that installing the other in the 18 foot area will be fine, though. I can't wait to install the other one!

Lights up the darkness
This light is great! I bought 2 of these lights, one for the garage and one for my uinfinished basement. I used to use 200 watt bulbs in my 2-car garage and my basement to have enough light to see anything, but they don't last long and are getting hard to find. I like the efficiency and long life of LED's so decided to try these lights. They are the greatest! I can see everywhere in both the garage and basement. They are very bright and the adjustable wings make it easy to get light where you want it. Just screw it into the socket like a regular light bulb and you're done. My lights don't have the motion detection. There is a slight delay between flipping the switch and light coming on (maybe a half second) that I had to get used to, but it must just be how they operate because they both work that way.
