Easy to use on smaller coils.
These crimpers are very sturdy and work as expected. I like that they are slightly narrower than other crimpers. This makes them easier to use on smaller coils.

Does exactly what it's supposed to do
After wrestling with needle-nose pliers and a lighter to try to close plastic spirals the cheap way (and failing miserably), I broke down and bought this tool. I watched a YouTube video on how to use it, did two practice cuts and bends, and then I was off and running. I should have bought this first--would have saved me a lot of time and frustration.

A useful tool to havevwhen making books with coils.
I love these crimpers. I’m sure there is a ‘trick’ to using them and getting it right every time. I just haven’t figured it out yet and haven't found any ‘how to for idiots videos’. 😂 so I’m careful when crimping. I wouldn’t want to be making books without them!

difficult to use
Maybe I just have not been able to follow the instructions.I use small pointy pliers and a small wire cutter. They work better.
